Well, I think it does especially as many of these teachings are from cultures who have been labeled primitive, backward, barbaric etc. I think that by noting its origins will help to remove any stigma that surrounds these people, their knowledge and spiritual beliefs. What exactly does this state of affairs tell us then about sects of Christianity today and their followers? The Christmas Exorcism Murder: On December 25th of 2010, a 15-year-old boy, named Kristy Bamu, was visiting his 29-year-old sister, and her fiance in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where evangelical Christian missionaries have been hard at work inserting their ideological dogma on the culture.
