The change back to normal was a sudden one, not something that Violet even noticed at first. She was carrying along in the company of Harris sometime after being announced as one of the Prom Queens (which, in itself, was something she could barely believe), they had ended up in another dance together. It was for that moment when she glanced away, wondering if there was anyone else she knew at the dance. And as she looked, everyone had become adults again.
It took Violet a while to even realize that the same happened to her. First, she noticed the lack of hair brushing her shoulders, and then she noticed that she was wearing something a lot softer than before. And she was feeling a lot more...calm. Steady. Relaxed. At least...more so than how she was at sixteen.
Violet looked down to see the casual red dress she came in - as she fully expected for the potion to take care of her clothes - and reached up to touch her hair, now shorter and more manageable for a nurse. And as her eyes slowly rose back up, she caught a glimpse of the man in before her, Harris at his normal age, now dressed up nicely in a suit with his face unconcealed by a hood. And he wore it quite well.
It took Violet a moment to remember herself and look away. By Aquaticus, she probably looked quite unremarkable now, especially compared to him, all dressed up nicely. She was just wearing something she would wear just about any day now, something unfit for a formal event. Funny how the tables were turned between the two of them now.
Violet remembered the little tiara on her head and quickly reached up to pull it off her head, feeling a little embarrassed to still have it on.
“W-Well...,” Violet spoke smiling up sheepishly at him, “I-I guess that’s the end of that.” The music still continued on despite everyone changing back into their regular forms - a lot of them heading for the exit afterwards.
