Uncle Apollo’s boss was weird sometimes. He had this cool spiky hair, and he was pretty nice to her, but he definitely didn’t seem like a boss sometimes.

“You were shouting and jumping, Mr. Wright. I could hear you in the hallway,” Adelaide stated. While her voice was soft in nature, she certainly seemed confident in her statement.

“Did you win a trial? Uncle Pollo likes to do that after he wins.”

“I’m Phoenix! Phoenix Wright! You know, Miles’ best friend!”

“B-But... I’m Miles...! How are you so young, Wright?”

“It’s raining so hard that there’s a flash flood warning in effect for certain parts of the city,” Apollo noted aloud to his partner, recalling the weather report he seen on his phone while gazing up at the darkened sky from the living room window. With this much rain, alongside thunder and lightning coupled with some strong gusts, the Agency would most likely be closed for the day. 

“Well, since we can’t get to the agency, how about we just stay in an-!!??” The brunet never got a chance to finish his sentence, as a flash of lightning struck down into the city. It had been so bright, it had illuminated the entirety of their apartment for a brief instance. Another moment later, a clap of thunder boomed without mercy, causing Apollo to jump back from sheer fear.

“Holy shit!!!” It was no secret that Apollo despised loud sounds, and that bout of thunder had actually caused the room to shake, so it was no surprise that that had been more than enough to draw profanity from his lips out of shock. Once he had managed to calm down, the younger had looked towards the sofa where Phoenix had been seated, only to find he had vanished.

“Nix?” he called out, still shaky from hearing the thunder beforehand.
