Should THIS GUY face the horrors? (Two! Electric boogaloo.)
Sadly, unlike the last time i made a post like this (for The Flight SMP), I cannot say that I am on the train to show any design other than v!Legs', because his design is public now.
It's okay though. I can replace him with this guy. Vampires SMP, Pantheon SMP... what's the difference, really?
Today was going to be a RemWritings post, but i felt as though that was disingenious, as that hasn't been the thing I've been working on the most. So instead, have some art!
While my character artist is Glacier, there will be a lot of art needed whilst making Remedium. As I've said before, a game is simply a baby constantly begging for more and more art. That is all it does.
So I've been practicing digital art, to hopefully help out! [these will not be official sprites]
and a WIP of Pearl!
i think that while I'm not at tge level of art I wish to achieve for Remedium, that i'm learning little by little every time i pick up a pen.
Now, I should really get back to coding...

"Six months?! But Teri, if I scroll back, you've only started this tumblr around four months ago!" yes. And you would be right. However, I did also mention that I spent two months working on Remedium before bringing it to the public eye.
And we'll talk about how Remedium came to be, yeah? Because it's been six months, now, since I started this project. Half a bloody year. And I am so, so thankful for everything its brought me.
So, let's get started.
It all started with Project LUMEN. This amazing project, @project-lumen, who started a year and a half ago, debuted by two of my friends at the time, where I'd applied and gotten accepted. And I... went crazy.
I applied as a writer. At the time, I could not identify as an artist or a coder. But I loved being a writer for this project so much. And it grew, it grew, and with it, I made friends, friends who also loved this project. Together, we have dreams and we have ambitions.
I knew that after Lumen, I wanted to make more games. But I didn't think I could do it. Not when I was just a writer.
And then I got into pixel art, joined the pixel art and UI team within Lumen, learnt that I could actually learn new skills, be worthy, and make something cool beyond words on screen...
And, eventually, I had my VSMP hyperfixation.
that. This is it. This is where it all started.
Except thats not true. As it says "this was all written in one sitting", there was eleven pages of google docs before this little note. Notes that have only grown since then.
This is it. This is where it all sits. On the "TND II Electric Boogaloo" doc. Which is a doc which was initially for my friend, @seafoamwaffle's fanfiction "These New Dreams" sequel, which is a Jimmy centric Stardew Valley Life Series AU. This is where it all started.
(And if you know me from my fanfictions as well, this very doc is also where all my fanfiction sits. It is literally just a hang out place for all of mine, Foam's, and sometimes other people's creative fandom (and sometimes original!) projects.)
But... this is all history. and you're not here for history, come on, we know this. So. Here's pieces of content, pulled right from this doc, made throughout my time working on Remedium.
This is... just sad. I didn't know anything about coding. My guy. Don't worry. You will learn. No, it is not python, you don't know shit about coding, do you? LOL
This was made before I pulled the bandaid and decided I would made Remedium a thing. This will not be in Remedium, as the dimensions are wrong. But... yeah. It's fun to look at.
The map of Oakhurst! Except I simply do not provide context. Here are squares and dots and things and you can try to figure out what it means.
and, finally...
We have a release date for Remedium's Demo. I've mentioned this before in other posts, and while I used the excuse of "Well, Pantheon didn't announce THEIR release date yet!" I cannot do that anymore, seeing they did. You will have to wait slightly longer for Remedium's, however. But I will say... I got someone to make a poster for it. And it looks good. Be on the look out for any new posts from Remedium in August!
andddddd, that's it. Surely. You're happy with this content, aren't you? Come on. This post's getting long. There have been many images share, and I've even teased the release date of the demo! I'm never this specific with my update posts, come on! Be grateful!
...okay fine here's Legundo's sprite.
Yep. It's this guy. This guy right here.
Welcome to Remedium.

Happy pride month! (2, electric boogaloo - Disability edition!)
I've changed the pfp yesterday, and I'm making the post today, but happy disability pride month, everyone!
This is a very special month for all disabled people, myself included, as, I assume it was not hard to guess, but I am autistic. And very, very much hyperfixated on vampires, Legundo especially. I do not believe this is a surprise.
This month is for me, for all the hardships that come with being disabled, and for all the people who share similar experiences, to varying degrees. The flag stands for the mourning and rage of the people we have lost, for the physical disabilities, sensorial disabilities, mental illnesses, neurodivergent disabilities and even undiagnosed disabilities. We are here to celebrate all disabled people, fans alike creators themselves within this space, because we are here and we exist and that alone must be celebrated.
And... well, if we're sticking to the topic of this account, meaning my hyperfixation sir Doctor Legundo from VSMP, he himself is disabled! cc!Legundo has stated that v!Legs is half blind, with one of his eyes being a fake, glass eye.
woah. what was that. an unreasonably large screenshot of. something. huh. how odd. thats crazy yall. @just_glacier12 . my very dear character artist.
On another note, all the people working on Remedium are probably all neurodivergent in some way. None of them are neurotypical in any way shape or form. And we have Cat ( @cattreats4humans ) (they/them) here, one of the two musicians of Remedium, who's left a message for this post specifically :3
Hi, it's Cat, and I help with the music on Remedium! Happy disability pride month to everyone!! I personally have had issues with chronic pain related to eating, which makes me fun at parties because my go-to topic is that time I had a colonoscopy! I hope everyone's disability pride month is a minimally stressful and that we make kind choices for the future we want. There's no future without disability, afterall <3
i love cat. we love cat. collectively we should all praise cat forever.
Thank you for reading this post. I have been looking forward to making it since mid pride month, as I recognize this month does not get the same attention as the one prior when it should.
We love you. No matter if you have a disability. You should be proud of it.
for our newest weekly update, i, the character sprite artist, present to you the fruits of my labor. you see, i used to go by many names to avoid the fae... ice cube, iceberg, puddle, melting block of ice... however, one specific fae you only know as teri took five seconds to look at these names and guessed my actual one in under three tries.
so tis i, glacier! since the fae now own my soul and the only way i can get it back is by doing every single sprite, i thought why not start with our girl apo?
note. these expressions are subject to change. (unfortunately.)
have a lovely day, stay scary/whimsical, and for the love of all the stars, dont give your name to the fae, or else you may wind up the remedium sprite artist.

Aaaaaand there it is. The long awaited update. Or whatever it is that they call it.
In my very first post on this account about Remedium, I said that I would have a demo ready within two months of posting that post. And you may be wondering, is that still true? We are two months into this, now! Andddddd....
Well. Truth is, I think I was okay at identifying a timeline for what I was planning at the time. But ever since I started Remedium, this project has only grown, and I've managed to get feedback from people. Which explains why the demo will be delayed.
Why is that? Well. I actually just got bigger and better plans for the demo! While I originally only wanted the Player to explore overworld mechanics, I decided to add a little more.
A demo is supposed to be some sort of trailer for the game. And I want to make the best trailer for you all.
In the meanwhile, I want to remind you that my asks are open! Ideas are always welcome, yapping is even more. Support is what motivates me every day.
I wish I could show you all that I've been doing. But alas, I must keep some secrets...
For now, have this.
wh... what do you mean "This isn't enough?" I've given you a screenshot of one!!! (1)!!! One whole map, now! Out of the like, 14 total in the game! (i did not actually count them. before posting this.) Don't be so greedy! I'm sorry if the cursor hides most of it, and i guess im sorry its a bit pixelated, but what more do you want from pixel art? Truly, do you not know how to appreciate art?
Sillies and low quality screenshots aside... Remedium will come in time. And I hope you will all love it as much as I do. (Actually, maybe more, because i do hate it at times. Coding sucks.)

(also, who was gonna tell me I've been mispelling "indie" as "india" this whole time???? WHO???)
Now, you may be asking, "Teri, where the FUCK have you been?" and to that I say... pollen is a bitch
but everything is okay, because I am, as you know, the maker of this very awesome indie fan video game based on the best doctor there ever was, Legundo. And while I have been absolutely dying, i have also been arting!... too much. Way too much.
Yes. That is 9 hours of arting if you count all the concepts outside of this. I have. I have arted too much. But it was all worth it, because it means I now have assets I can actually feel comfortable adding to Remedium!
What? these are actually named and organized... huh... does this give you a clue... huh... of what... huh.... i have made.... huh.... oh well too bad i guess.
(I am currently ignoring the fact I do, very much, still need about 8-10 more pieces of art to make for this. It is too much work. Legundo isn't streaming nearly enough for me to lurk and art as he does. and even when he streams! I keep! getting attacked! by IRON BRICKS! Legundo when i get you...)
