Welcome to REMEDIUM, The Doctor’s Very Last Horrible Thing. You may call me the Fae, though the story I will be telling is not about my kind, but Vampires: indeed, what I will be making is a Vampires SMP indie video game based around Legundo’s POV.
In this masterpost, you may find a lot of things, such as information on the project and who is making it.
All of this can be found under the cut. But before then, I must ask for us to get acquainted, and such, may I have your name?
[REMEDIUM is not affiliated with Legundo or any of the Vampires SMP cast.]

WHAT IS REMEDIUM?
As I said, this project is an indie video game based on Legundo’s POV of Vampires SMP! It will be a story-driven game with combat and choices leading you to multiple paths and endings. Will the Doctor be able to help everyone? Or will you just lead him to his demise once more?
It will be a ship free game (though, in Legundo’s words, while v!Legs and v!Owen weren’t necessarily dating, they’re sure as heck divorced by the end of it all) and content-creator friendly. There may be gore, but it all depends on my ability to draw blood.
WHEN CAN I PLAY?
That’s sure an ambitious question. Here’s the honest answer: I don’t know! I’m a very busy Fae and am doing this mostly on my own, so it will certainly not be out tomorrow. However, I do have a demo that I am actively working on, mostly showcasing the game’s mechanics, which should be out soon, roundabouts a few months, considering I have vowed to only post this after I’ve made considerable progress on it, which can be considered a prologue to Oakhurst. Estimated play time would be maybe around 5 minutes.
The game as a final product has an undetermined amount of play time. Likely over an hour, though.
HOW CAN I SUPPORT THIS PROJECT?
That’s easy. Comment! Leave asks! Talk about it! I will not accept a single penny for this project, and money would never enrich my passion more than you guys interacting with this project! Please leave asks, comments and reblogs, I will eat them all up. They will directly influence my progress on this.
HOW CAN I HELP IN ITS DEVELOPMENT?
Sadly, REMEDIUM will not be opening up applications. The reason for that is the fact that I wouldn’t be able to find a way to communicate with people if I were to, that management takes a darn whole lot of time, and that I have a very specific vision for this project. However, please leave ideas for the game in whatever way you see fit, whether that be asks, comments or reblogs! They may be implemented, who knows? :D
(The decision not to open applications may be subject to change, but do not get your hopes too high up.)
WHO IS THE ONE PULLING THE STRINGS?
The Fae is handling this project—though you may call me (ThisWild)Zam, or Teri (or Louis, if you're feeling whimsical.). I am the main person pulling the strings, though I am helped by a few people: My very dear Foam [@seafoamwaffle] (she/her), helping me handle this very Tumblr, my beloved Cat [@cattreats4humans] (they/them) and very talented Skye [@autumnwhistles] (she/her), who will be making all the music/soundtracks for REMEDIUM, along with the wonderful Glacier[@justglacier12] (neopronouns) who is gonna be making some of the character art! There’s also Pie [@thedoomedpie] (they/them), who I suppose is not an official member of the team, but has been the guiding hand I needed to start learning code.
I go by he/fae/neos/they (faes have also gone woke, it turns out) my tumblr is @thiswildzam , and I also work on @project-lumen ! I was originally hired as a writer in the first round of application, then found myself trying out pixel art when we turned out to be short-staffed on that front. This allowed me to envision a world where I can make projects like these myself! :D (except for the music part—I do not have a single musical bone in my body.)
I must thank Legundo, for his subathon, his acknowledgement of my chat messages mentioning this mysterious “v!legs fanproject”, and for chat, who unknowingly supported me through this process =D
The fact that this masterpost has been posted is a direct promise of completion of this project. It will not be abandoned, because I didn't just post this on a whim one day, I have already worked to prove myself that it is possible for me to make this.
Should THIS GUY face the horrors? (Two! Electric boogaloo.)
Sadly, unlike the last time i made a post like this (for The Flight SMP), I cannot say that I am on the train to show any design other than v!Legs', because his design is public now.
It's okay though. I can replace him with this guy. Vampires SMP, Pantheon SMP... what's the difference, really?
"Six months?! But Teri, if I scroll back, you've only started this tumblr around four months ago!" yes. And you would be right. However, I did also mention that I spent two months working on Remedium before bringing it to the public eye.
And we'll talk about how Remedium came to be, yeah? Because it's been six months, now, since I started this project. Half a bloody year. And I am so, so thankful for everything its brought me.
So, let's get started.
It all started with Project LUMEN. This amazing project, @project-lumen, who started a year and a half ago, debuted by two of my friends at the time, where I'd applied and gotten accepted. And I... went crazy.
I applied as a writer. At the time, I could not identify as an artist or a coder. But I loved being a writer for this project so much. And it grew, it grew, and with it, I made friends, friends who also loved this project. Together, we have dreams and we have ambitions.
I knew that after Lumen, I wanted to make more games. But I didn't think I could do it. Not when I was just a writer.
And then I got into pixel art, joined the pixel art and UI team within Lumen, learnt that I could actually learn new skills, be worthy, and make something cool beyond words on screen...
And, eventually, I had my VSMP hyperfixation.
that. This is it. This is where it all started.
Except thats not true. As it says "this was all written in one sitting", there was eleven pages of google docs before this little note. Notes that have only grown since then.
This is it. This is where it all sits. On the "TND II Electric Boogaloo" doc. Which is a doc which was initially for my friend, @seafoamwaffle's fanfiction "These New Dreams" sequel, which is a Jimmy centric Stardew Valley Life Series AU. This is where it all started.
(And if you know me from my fanfictions as well, this very doc is also where all my fanfiction sits. It is literally just a hang out place for all of mine, Foam's, and sometimes other people's creative fandom (and sometimes original!) projects.)
But... this is all history. and you're not here for history, come on, we know this. So. Here's pieces of content, pulled right from this doc, made throughout my time working on Remedium.
This is... just sad. I didn't know anything about coding. My guy. Don't worry. You will learn. No, it is not python, you don't know shit about coding, do you? LOL
This was made before I pulled the bandaid and decided I would made Remedium a thing. This will not be in Remedium, as the dimensions are wrong. But... yeah. It's fun to look at.
The map of Oakhurst! Except I simply do not provide context. Here are squares and dots and things and you can try to figure out what it means.
and, finally...
We have a release date for Remedium's Demo. I've mentioned this before in other posts, and while I used the excuse of "Well, Pantheon didn't announce THEIR release date yet!" I cannot do that anymore, seeing they did. You will have to wait slightly longer for Remedium's, however. But I will say... I got someone to make a poster for it. And it looks good. Be on the look out for any new posts from Remedium in August!
andddddd, that's it. Surely. You're happy with this content, aren't you? Come on. This post's getting long. There have been many images share, and I've even teased the release date of the demo! I'm never this specific with my update posts, come on! Be grateful!
...okay fine here's Legundo's sprite.
Yep. It's this guy. This guy right here.
Welcome to Remedium.

[this is said dramatically, like in the start of an essay video]
What are to do list? They are big. Unending. Forever expanding. I hate to do lists, in the same way that I love ticking things off of them. However. they seem ever growing.
Here is the first ever to do list. I suppose you can read it, since having whole screenshots with only my discord user not scribbled out would be counter intuitive. But yes.
I was stupid. Did I really think I only needed to get that much done? Well to be fair, i did make a post a bit ago saying how the nature of the demo changed a Lot, but still!
Soon enough, I had to change it.
That's. not the correct screenshot, okay
Soon enough, THIS became the more up to date list that I had. and it is. Still. I mean. One of the censored things on there was actually like 5 bullet points in a trench coat and it took me ages. But. Oh well
anyway, time passes, and since i seemed to be utterly incapable of making a good to do list, Cat helped me with the next one!
All people mentioned in this to do list are wonderful artists who are helping me with Remedium, including @cattreats4humans , @autumnwhistles , @justglacier12 and @witheredwire .
Then, you know, there's also Pie and Foam.
Pie. Pie when are you getting to work on that front for remedium. It is necessary. Pie. Pie. Everyone bully Pie.
(Also... what is that.... a deadline... mayhaps even implying there is... a release date in mind.... for remedium demo. I'm not giving it yet tho. Im like pantheon smp.)
Eventually, I... actually crossed off a lot of things on that to do list. Wow. I'm actually making progress. Wow. That is. crazy. Wow. so i had to make another one. Yep. More. You can see things keep getting added. i. I dont know how
And this is the most recent one. That is. Yep. Yeah that's the to do list . it's certainly a to do list. It is. To do. I think within the timeframe I've given myself for this, it's doable. I say. Without a sweat.
anyway yeah so. i hate to do lists

Happy pride month! (2, electric boogaloo - Disability edition!)
I've changed the pfp yesterday, and I'm making the post today, but happy disability pride month, everyone!
This is a very special month for all disabled people, myself included, as, I assume it was not hard to guess, but I am autistic. And very, very much hyperfixated on vampires, Legundo especially. I do not believe this is a surprise.
This month is for me, for all the hardships that come with being disabled, and for all the people who share similar experiences, to varying degrees. The flag stands for the mourning and rage of the people we have lost, for the physical disabilities, sensorial disabilities, mental illnesses, neurodivergent disabilities and even undiagnosed disabilities. We are here to celebrate all disabled people, fans alike creators themselves within this space, because we are here and we exist and that alone must be celebrated.
And... well, if we're sticking to the topic of this account, meaning my hyperfixation sir Doctor Legundo from VSMP, he himself is disabled! cc!Legundo has stated that v!Legs is half blind, with one of his eyes being a fake, glass eye.
woah. what was that. an unreasonably large screenshot of. something. huh. how odd. thats crazy yall. @just_glacier12 . my very dear character artist.
On another note, all the people working on Remedium are probably all neurodivergent in some way. None of them are neurotypical in any way shape or form. And we have Cat ( @cattreats4humans ) (they/them) here, one of the two musicians of Remedium, who's left a message for this post specifically :3
Hi, it's Cat, and I help with the music on Remedium! Happy disability pride month to everyone!! I personally have had issues with chronic pain related to eating, which makes me fun at parties because my go-to topic is that time I had a colonoscopy! I hope everyone's disability pride month is a minimally stressful and that we make kind choices for the future we want. There's no future without disability, afterall <3
i love cat. we love cat. collectively we should all praise cat forever.
Thank you for reading this post. I have been looking forward to making it since mid pride month, as I recognize this month does not get the same attention as the one prior when it should.
We love you. No matter if you have a disability. You should be proud of it.
hey guys have i ever mentioned i love remedium and how well its going and how cool it is and actually i think i am so proud of remedium and remedium is the best and you are all going to love remedium when it comes out because there is so much love within remedium and it is genuinely something i just love so much. i love my friends and i love everyone helping me and supporting me within this journey. I love the hope and opportunities remedium have given me. it is so cool. thanks. im done geeking out. will go back to coding and prolly run into a bug thatll ragebait me. thanks
This will not be the sole post called the sillies. there are many. Many sillies involved in the making of Remedium.
one of them includes putting my musician down to red on the creative life event heyyyyy heyyy skye heyyyy---
I've been slowly getting myself back on the coding scene, as starting super secret thing has been a huge step in the developpement of Remedium, HOWEVER! it has gone well. And I can actually imagine a world where I finish the main mechanics within the end of the week!
The visuals, on the otherhand... well. we're not talking about those, now, are we?
Aaaaaaanyway. As I said! The sillies! The work! The coding!
If you know anything about coding, you know about prints. You know.
...however. The Sillies. This is, in no way, efficient. This is something that would make any other coder cry. However, lucky me, I am the sole coder of Remedium, meaning I only need to know what im doing, and make absolutely no sense. If I ever forget what any of these do, it is solely my fault and only I will suffer the consequences for it.
and. well. i already do. sigh
emotional support foam, everyone. Sigh. Big sigh.
(I am so, so very excited to get Remedium to a place where I can release a demo. This is so exciting. It's actually starting to look like something. I am. So excited)

Tldr before I even say anything - Avid will be removed entirely from Remedium.
My apologies for having taken so long to have made a post about this. Know that there has been NO DOUBT in my mind that Avid will be removed the second I had finished reading all the statements I could get my hands on in this situation. The time I have taken to put out this statement has been taken to think about the logistics of how, hear out live statements, and think about my other personal projects (such as fanfiction.).
(I will make one note about Marm - since she was not in Vampires, I will not mention her in this post, but my personal account used to be called ThisWildMarm, which I have now changed to ThisWildZam for evident reasons.)
Avid will be entirely removed from Remedium. This may be cause of confusion as his character was so intertwined with so many storylines, and Remedium was supposed to explore each and every different storyline.
But before being a coder, and before being an artist, I was and will always be a writer. And I am a fan, with a passion, and a goal to make Remedium a game that can be a joy to play, and that cannot be done with him within it.
The main story of Vampires will stay the same. The events will have to be adapted as a result of his absence, but they will still reflect the original intentions and emotions, without having to portray an abuser.
I hope you can trust me to do this story justice. I am hoping that by removing him, I can manage to take away the sour taste he has left on vsmp's story. I hope I can bring everyone to love vampires without someone who has deeply hurt real people both within and outside of the series.
Thank you for hearing me out. Always support the victims.

OBVIOUSLY, every single member working on this project is gay as can be. And we are loud and proud about our identities!
My own journey with coming to terms with my queerness is so intertwined with MCYT as a whole that I will forever be grateful for what it did to me. Bringing to me creators who are proudly announcing who they are to the world, and to a little kid version of me who only needed to hear that they weren't alone in this world and that we are here, we are queer, we love and we exist, and that that is beautiful.
Now that THAT's out of the way and that we can move past it towards the silliness..
[Insert that meme about its pride month, you know what that means, but for Remedium]
Huh. Remedium sure does look different for pride month...
(Should I stop talking about the flight smp on a vampires smp fan video game blog...? Maybe. But I will not. catch me if u can!)

Now, you may be asking, "Teri, where the FUCK have you been?" and to that I say... pollen is a bitch
but everything is okay, because I am, as you know, the maker of this very awesome indie fan video game based on the best doctor there ever was, Legundo. And while I have been absolutely dying, i have also been arting!... too much. Way too much.
Yes. That is 9 hours of arting if you count all the concepts outside of this. I have. I have arted too much. But it was all worth it, because it means I now have assets I can actually feel comfortable adding to Remedium!
What? these are actually named and organized... huh... does this give you a clue... huh... of what... huh.... i have made.... huh.... oh well too bad i guess.
(I am currently ignoring the fact I do, very much, still need about 8-10 more pieces of art to make for this. It is too much work. Legundo isn't streaming nearly enough for me to lurk and art as he does. and even when he streams! I keep! getting attacked! by IRON BRICKS! Legundo when i get you...)

Now, you may be asking, "Dear scary, evil, moustreous fae, why are you posting about l'Eid? This isn't block man video game!"
...and, you're right! You're right, it's not. But let's be honest here, how many projects will post something for Christmas, Halloween, heck, even Easter as it's coming up? If they get to show off and celebrate their cultures, then so do I. Because yeah! I'm not white! Surprise!
And I do want to specify that I am not muslim, simply arabic. But I grew up as and around muslims for my whole life, and I want to celebrate that!
Holidays like these are often forgotten about and pushed aside for the ones that are more celebrated by priviliged people. We, arabics and muslims, usually get forgotten about! But I don't want that. I want to celebrate this holiday.
This post has taken so long in my day to come out because I've just been having a great time. My brother came back for the first time in months to celebrate this occasion, and brought gifts. He brought our family a TTRPG game, and I will finally be able to test that out! I'm even the DM! Our neighbors and family friends stopped by and are excited to get to play with us. We're having a wildly different age demographic, the youngest player being 6 years old. Will it be difficult for her? Probably. But we were reunited by family and tradition and we'll accomodate for her!
I woke up at 7 AM this morning with my family to walk to the Mosque and saw how happy they were at the amount of muslims there was present. I was happy that they could walk around and feel proud about their religion, especially when I leave in a country that is very racist to arabs.
I wanted to make this post because it's important to me that I show my culture. And, sure, will I be posting on Easter and Christmas? maybe. I don't know!
When I first started identifying as an atheist, i thought I'd want to celebrate christmas for once. But that's not the case, because christmas doesn't mean anything to me. Sure, I like seeing my friends get excited about it and have a moment of community and family in december, but that's not that moment for me. For me, that's l'eid. That's the entirety of ramadan.
And, hey, if you really want me to stick to block man, v!Legundo is a doctor. He'll tell you how good fasting is for your body.
But for now, rest up. Have a nice day. Call your family and spend time with them! Whether you celebrate l'eid or not, I wish you the best.
This isn't about block man. This is about me celebrating my culture in a space I feel safe in. Thank you for listening.

We've talked about Glacier. We've talked about Pie. Now it's Foam's turn.
@seafoampuddings / @seafoamwaffle
Everyone... the. every other week remedium update post except i had no idea what to do so i just complained about it and make a shitpost out of what i do have.
why am i doing this you ask? i dont know. i dont have a life.
Welp. The main main mechanics of the overworld of remedium have basically been complete. There's only very basic UI left for me to do and a lot of Legundo watching while arting to do. Hey, maybe we'll finally get some more Rem art dumps in the future!
But yeah. I've got. I've got no witty thing to show off. It's just. its foam. emotional support foam. yeah. whatever. hate that gal
[REMEDIUM is an india fan video game based on Legundo's VSMP series. Check the Masterpost for more information.]
i have notttt seen enough posts for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander heritage month as i should have so far this month!!!!
some of my favorite authors from this demographic include: Shay Kauwe, Lamya H., Alice Wong, Trang Tranh Tran, and Ken Liu.
Wildmender is one of my favorite video games and it's team has many AANHPI artists and coders.
(my actually favorite video game is Remedium by @doctors-remedium deserves a shoutout too, though not Asian. it was Arab American heritage month in April though. not an American project tho. idk. im doing a Remedium shoutout and u cant stop me)
Plz reblog with ur favorite AANHPI artists and creators!!! I want music reccs especially for selfish reasons XD. I would love more traditional and digital artist reccs too, and of course fandom people count!!
Aaaaaand there it is. The long awaited update. Or whatever it is that they call it.
In my very first post on this account about Remedium, I said that I would have a demo ready within two months of posting that post. And you may be wondering, is that still true? We are two months into this, now! Andddddd....
Well. Truth is, I think I was okay at identifying a timeline for what I was planning at the time. But ever since I started Remedium, this project has only grown, and I've managed to get feedback from people. Which explains why the demo will be delayed.
Why is that? Well. I actually just got bigger and better plans for the demo! While I originally only wanted the Player to explore overworld mechanics, I decided to add a little more.
A demo is supposed to be some sort of trailer for the game. And I want to make the best trailer for you all.
In the meanwhile, I want to remind you that my asks are open! Ideas are always welcome, yapping is even more. Support is what motivates me every day.
I wish I could show you all that I've been doing. But alas, I must keep some secrets...
For now, have this.
wh... what do you mean "This isn't enough?" I've given you a screenshot of one!!! (1)!!! One whole map, now! Out of the like, 14 total in the game! (i did not actually count them. before posting this.) Don't be so greedy! I'm sorry if the cursor hides most of it, and i guess im sorry its a bit pixelated, but what more do you want from pixel art? Truly, do you not know how to appreciate art?
Sillies and low quality screenshots aside... Remedium will come in time. And I hope you will all love it as much as I do. (Actually, maybe more, because i do hate it at times. Coding sucks.)
[REMEDIUM is an indie fan video game based on Legundo's VSMP series. Check the Masterpost for more information.]
(also, who was gonna tell me I've been mispelling "indie" as "india" this whole time???? WHO???)
What a surprise! Remedium, being a video game, actually does need a decent amount of coding that I have not only been procrastinating to do and learn, but also to… organize?
Since when was there a need for multiple scripts of coding? And what the heck are scenes? Frankly, all I’ve learnt from coding with Remedium is absolute gibberish. Why won’t things manifest as I think them into existence? It’s a scam is what it is.
But oh well. You do what you got to do. I’m currently coding in how to save the game in itself (because you have to code that too! All by yourself!), all the while procrastinating organizing all the files of the game.
To facilitate complaining to the void about this issue, I have drawn a more visual aspect of my problem, that should speak more to you.
Listen! You import assets all by themselves, which is why they're neat and tidy, bar except for a few names — and when I create scenes, I automatically put them in the scene folder all by itself. And I used to go through the trouble of organizing scripts when I started them… but when you start one attached to a scene, and youre just too lazy to move it right as you create it because you want to play silly block man game…
Well. You end up with… a quite odd type of chest monster. In fact, it’s not a chest monster at all. It’s a file monster! My worse nightmare.
