Ok I have heard canon (idk if it counts as a head canon) but it was Scott’s memories that brought back Stiles.

Ok first off, Lydia only started talking to stiles in the last few years and straight up ignored him before that. Not only that, she went from Jackson to Aiden with no thought to Stiles. And now somehow it’s her memories that were strong enough to bring him back??

Stiles was Malia’s anchor. She was there to help him after the Nogitsune and they had a good bond. She had a lot of good memories of him and he was the first person she connected to after becoming human again. Her memories hold have been more powerful.

But I think that Scott’s memories should have been the ones to bring him back. Scott and Stiles have known each other since THEY WERE 4 YEARS OLD. They have been through pretty much everything together. Parent deaths, divorces, all of their school years, werewolves, supernatural everything. Scott almost got lost in his own head from all of the memories rushing back in.

Stiles may have been in love with Lydia, but he was willing to go down in flames with Scott. Scott was willing to do anything to get him back, both from the Nogitsune and from the Wild Hunt. Their bond is way stronger than Lydia and Stiles.

Oh my goodness!!! I can't believe that the next episode is the season finale! Wait!!! It's the series finale. Man! This is gonna him me hard! Teen wolf is one of those series that actually got me into binging. I started it when it was in S2, and now it better be fan-freakin-tastic!!! This episode was just throwback wasn't it. Bring back all the characters that aren't fed is a good strategy for a finale😂. I can't wait for Stiles to come back though!!!! Ahhhhhh that's gonna be soooooo awesome!!!!!

Also can I just say, Monroe sucks!!! Like that lousy excuse of a human doesn't deserve to have anything to do with my babies who have done nothing but protect beacon hills😭😭. And man!!!! The Anuk-ite gaaaahhhhhh... There is just too much going on!!! Someone gimme the season finale now!!! Then I can binge watch the entire series again! Coz I doubt m getting over teen wolf ever!!
