Early morning fog. It is so thick I can barely make out the approaching intersection; the traffic lights are swallowed in the all-consuming mist. I have a sudden urge to stop the car and wander, fae-like, through the otherworldly shroud...across the remnant prairie, beneath the molting oaks. I want to walk half-hidden in that comforting ethereal gloom and pass the day peacefully in its silent clammy chill, away from the rest of the world. Instead, I park and look on wistfully as I make my way to the R-Building.
