I've always wanted to ask how you get your gifs so dark? Everytime I try to do a darker colouring it looks all grainy and weird. (if you'd rather not tell me I understand lol)

I play around with black and white gradients. depending on the video I'm gif-fing (is that a word?) I switch the settings. I'd be more specific but I literally just closed PS before answering this. But try playing with gradient maps and changing some from normal to soft light or overlay and stuff like that.

if it helps (from what I can remember from off the top of my head), all my gifs always have at least 3 gradient maps with different settings. 2 are black to white gradients and one is white to black. (play around w/ opacity too!)

and the gradients are only for how light or dark I want my gif, I don't use them for coloring.

This has never once happened to my cs5 lmao. Do you think it was just the one you downloaded? Or did it work fine before but out of nowhere it stopped working properly?

it's probably just the one I downloaded because CS5 on my old laptop works great. And I have 2 separate CS5's on here and they both freeze up out of nowhere. CS6 does the same sometimes but at least it saves/restores my shit lol
