I was always fascinated by the photography but more particularly by the exercise of the portrait. This interest comes because of the expression of the face captured over the moment. The movement of eyes, mouth and the lines of the face generally allow almost to read in the thought of the subject, or to extrapolate on its past, future life.
The MUG SHOTS (or police photographs) really synthesize this idea, they are often persons with strong personalities, very meaning faces thus very interesting to study and to draw.
Once the drawing done, I wanted to expose it in the street to bring out the subject of the anonymity, give him a place and an identity (when on the photo he is just a series of figures among the others).
