lukewarm hot chocolate with swirls of cream on top in december. the nostalgic feeling of going back to a childhood show you once loved and feeling your chest tighten up when you see your old favorite character. petting a cat at night in the family room after a family party’s been finished and everyone’s gone home. the distant sound of a train a few streets down. a dog hopping through the snow for the first time. winter in its entirety tbh.
