Similarities between Rem (Death Note) and The Creature (Lisa Frankenstein)

1. They are both grotesque monsters that come from a place of death.

2. They both folded for a goth girl who recently lost her parent(s) to a murderer that was never given justice.

3. They can and will kill anybody who hurts/endangers the goth girl.

4. In addition to taking human life for her, they are also willing to sacrifice their own.

5. They just sorta hangout in her room and are hidden from the rest of the world. Despite being scary and supernatural, they are the only person the goth girl has let herself trust and they become her closest confidant.

6. They both disapprove of the goth girl's initial love interest but support her endeavors all the same because they would rather see her happy than force themselves onto her.

7. They prove themselves to be more reliable, and by extension, more human, than any other character.

I project so much Yuri onto this movie and whenever I watch it I ONLY think of remisa so I have to violently remind myself these are straight people that just so happen to be occupying my very queer lesbian deathnote slasher daydream plot
