Assalaam aleikoum. I can tell you this about Masjid Al Ansar in Miami, Florida: One big prayer space with NO curtains or partitions. One big eating area for both sexes, they just sit separately. The brothers serve the sisters food. Brothers even chaperone/watch over any woman walking to her car alone at night if it is outside of the masjid parking lot when there's lots of attendees. MashaAllah, I love this masjid!
