I read a Javier Peña fanfic on AO3, and now it's been turned into a publish book called The Crush by Ren Browne. It's one of my favourite ever fanfics, and I just picked it up on Kindle! If you're a pedro Pascal, narcos and fanfic fan this one is for you!

kudos and compliments - a review

this book....this book was impossible to put down. i was lucky enough to get an arc copy and i finished it in one day and absolutely went through all the emotions. it was such a delightful journey to experience alongside danny and isa, the two main characters. the drama, the tears, the heartbreak, the confession, the tension, the attraction, the trials and tribulations of living in a small town and trying to find happiness in the most forbidden of people truly makes a great story. ren has truly done the trope justice with her writing and i cannot wait to read it for a second time once the physical copy is in my hands.

This was fabulous. I'm not usually one for romance but this drew me in and wouldn't let me go. The pacing was fantastic. Parts kept me on the edge of my seat as they were supposed to. Other parts had my emotions swinging from anger to melting joy at how the two main characters handled themselves.

I'm trying so hard to not give away anything because I just want to gush about the story in detail, but don't want to spoil it for those who plan on reading this!

Go read this when its available on June 25. Whether it's digital or physical copy, you have to read thisbook.
