Hey y'all! So Perez Hilton wrote about our band yesterday for a 3rd time! It's really cool seeing what he has to say about us and our music. Check out what he said about our song "Cold As Stone"!

High School Nation Tour
Hello guys and gals! I can't even begin to explain how exhausted we all are after touring the past few weeks, but it's a great type of exhaustion that I never ever want to end. Unfortunately though, there are only two days left! We are all really depressed that tour is about over, but the kids that we have met at every show have seriously made us the happiest band in the entire world. Getting to know each of you, and hearing how our performance touched you, or even just that you had a good time dancing and hanging out is so special, and it means the world to us! I wanted to write a blog post to talk about some fun times we have had on HSN Tours and to let you know what we are up to NEXT!
First off, the time we have spent in STAMPS THE VAN MORRISON driving from city to city have been way too real. From the van overheating and rocks cracking our windshield to very intense games of "Cows, I win" (That's a game invented by our good friend, Eric...Everytime you see cows, you scream, "Cows, I win" and there's only one winner a day...It sounds uneventful, but I swear, that game gets intense. Also, Ren is currently tied with Adam at 5 points, Rob at 2 and Dave at a pitiful 0) It's been a wonderful, bumpy ride, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. PB & J's for days. We played shows in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and tomorrow North Carolina! Every show was perfect in different ways. We met tons of amazing people, and we're so lucky to be apart of this tour! The crew is literally a handful of the best people in the world. After doing THREE tours together, they've become family, and we love them dearly. I wish they all lived in Los Angeles, so I could lock them in my closet and never let them leave. (I'd feed them, and give them blankets and stuff) Speaking of people I love on tour...playing shows with BLUSH, Trevor Jackson and Justine Skye has been amazing. They're such talented artists and great people. We had some rad times together, if you couldn't tell from all the pictures I post on our Instagram!! (@stampstheband)
We've been really fortunate to have kids come up to us after shows and share some very intimate details about their lives with us. Boys and girls in different cities have told us about their severe depression, and how they cut themselves, or how they've never felt important or beautiful, but seeing STAMPS play made their week, and us hanging out with them gave them something to look forward to, and made them HAPPY...That's why we do what we do. We want to change lives, and help people get through hard times. It meant so much to me that they felt so inspired by our performance that they came up to us, shared such personal stories, and felt as though they could talk to us. I can honestly say some of the people we met at these shows changed my life, and I'm so honored to have met them. STAY STRONG, and never let anyone bring you down.
Well, I'm hungry, so I'm gonna go make another peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but I want to take this time to talk about how awesome it's been for Adam and me to tour with our best friends Dave Cavalier and Rob Shore. They're literally the coolest dudes in the world, and we love having their talented butts around.
We can't wait to come back through all these cities to play again, but we are booking more shows and a new tour now for late Fall, so don't worry! We'll be back. Also, be on the lookout for new STAMPS music, because we are recording more songs as soon as we get back to LA.
Love y'all,
Ren :)
