Still Looking for a Place

So I have been using craigslist to find a place but there are quite a lot of scams. The one I've seen most frequently is a place cheap to rent and the person responsible for the unit is out of town somewhere and doesn't have anyone to show you the place but if you send them x amount of dollars they will mail you the key. They're usually eager to get you started with the application process but not so much when it comes to viewing the interior. 

So if you see stuff like this or in your communication with someone this sort of thing comes up avoid that place like the plague. Better safe than sorry.
