Idk if this is a hot take or maybe inappropriate but I think it's better for minors to read sexual scenes rather than to actually partake in them, there's no risk of pregnancy, if you feel uncomfortable reading a scenario you can simply click off. Which in real life could be overwhelming, stressful and can always include the fact that even though you are comfy your partner wishes not to stop which leads to many unwanted things. It also helps in finding out what you're into and what you're not into, there's no pressure to partake in/do something if you feel uncomfy, and it also allows for self exploration of kinks without actually going through with one, for example you could find out you're into a certain type of toy without having to purchase it, you can explore your desires at your own pace with no one to judge you. It's great for someone who's socially awkward and wishes to know about certain things without the inclusion of their partner/someone else

Of course there are many unrealistic descriptions of intercourse, such as the writings which contain something along the lines of "he pounded into your cervix" that is realistically very painful and not possible, you cervix is far too high up for the average d to reach, but with basic sex ed education and just reading some informational stuff I think a teen/high schooler can probably tell the difference between complete fiction and more realistic descriptions- at least myself and others I have talked to claim that their previous teen self could tell the difference, so idk.
