Every once in a while, Sara McMann does something to remind you that she can absolutely beat everybody in the division. It’s usually followed up by something to remind that she can absolutely lose to anybody in the division.

Marion Reneau’s got a bit too much Tecia Torres “I only fight when I feel overwhelmed” in her game for my liking. It comes out at the very WORST times.

Reneau keeps clinching with Cat Zingano which is not the best position to be in when you’re fighting somebody like Cat Zingano. Reneau is excelling at space but she opts to fight in the clinch repeatedly.

It is worth pointing out

Marion Reneau could realistically have just one loss in the UFC. Some (all?) folks think she beat Ashlee Evans Smith and the Bethe Corriea draw is probably a win for Reneau on neutral ground. She's also a proven fight finisher which should bump her up the rankings. I'd love to see Reneau vs Juliana Pena or the Zingano/Vieira winner.

Ashlee Evans-Smith takes a split decision

I missed the first round but Reneau seemed to dominate it. Evans-Smith took the third round but I thought Marion took the 2nd round so it should be 29-28 I guess for Reneau? Whatever?
