More Heian-era based kasane no irome starring Renee Santz from Carmen Sandiego’s Great Chase Through Time, now feat. Medeva (the criminal she had to catch on the Murasaki Shikibu mission).
I made two versions of the picture: one to look more authentic on paper, and one to show the color palettes.

Ever since I heard about Netflix’s plan to revamp Carmen Sandiego, I became bent on redesigning some of my favorite and most memorable characters from the franchise, notably the “Great Chase Through Time” computer game (which is the basis for the fanmade graphic novel idea I have).
These are just the references for ACME, however. I also gave the majority of them weapons and equipment from Overwatch. And yes, I named the Chief “Chief Wade” in reference to Kim Possible (just like Wade, the Chief is the one assigning missions).
I actually saw a cool fanart of the ACME Good Guides a while ago by @priellan right here. It’s pretty well done; I’m glad this piece of fanart exists. =D

Legend has it that when she was just a baby, Renee picked up a set of crayons and drew a copy of the Mona Lisa. That certainly brought a smile to her parents' faces. Of course, they weren't surprised. Her mother is the world famous architect, Fallan Arches, and her father is the renowned bassoonist, Red Cheeks. The conductor of the ACME orchestra and an accomplished painter, Renee is an expert on art and always makes time to study the great cultural achievements of the past.
