Even with all her effort, the human had size on her. He pounced and had her in his grasp within an instant, and it was as Eldon crouched low as he slunk closer to the two that Renee grew truly desperate.

“What the hell?!”

The human cried out as long claws left thick gashes on his arms. Renee growled viciously as protruded fangs filled her mouth, her fact contorted into a snout-like snarl, and heightened strength and the element of surprise had the man leaping back.

Pausing momentarily as perhaps the little girl would not need his help after all, the vileness of human intentions won out over what should have been the smarter option of fleeing. The man, confused but determined, bounced to his feet with trained speed. Not once did he left go again as he reclaimed his hold on Renee, no matter how much she slashed at him.

It all happened in a flash, and as Eldon moved forward in a flash it was his turn to give the human a fright.

“You are far too optimistic, Geoff.” Sherrie pointed out.

“Yeah, even if they are glad that the case is solved, all the adults will still be super mad at us for getting involved like this, especially on a school night.” Renee added.

“Why don’t we just go home then?” Geoffrey suggested, “I don’t see why you can’t simply tell your parents you caught sight of the ghosts when your family was out camping. The adults can investigate this properly.”

“Because the ghosts are scared of adults- I could tell. They’ll hide themselves forever if we bring some with us. I’m sure they’ll come out if we approach them saying we want to play though.” Lucas explained confidently.

Back in my Aidan Gillen days, I watched a film of his called 'Trouble with Sex' Largely cliched, but still enjoyable, if only for the amazing rendition of 'Fall at your feet' by Renée Weldon. See for yourself and think about Stede and Ed, Stede, the lonely bartender, and Ed, freshly after an argument with his boyfriend. Actually, I can see both of them in either role, but can't you just see one of them singing this to the other?? Also, as a side point, Renée's singing is gorgeous 😍

“These are my two daughters,” Brannon began to introduce as his family stood near him, “Renee here is dressed as a fairy. Vivian is a gladiator.”

It was all too easy to see the gleam in their eyes. The daughters shared in their father’s power.
