Call me crazy but I swear the change in Captain Chromium’s ability description thingy in the last book could’ve served as foreshadowing

RENEGADES TRILOGY (specifically 3rd book) SPOILERS AHEAD:

in both Renegades and Archenemies, the ‘cast of characters’ section at the very beginning had the exact same description for him (pic is from my personal copy of the series)

but in Supernova, he is the ONLY character in the list (I’m only counting from people who’s names have been present in all three books) who’s description changes into this:

“he is allegedly invincible” YOU CANT TELL ME THIS DOESNT SLIGHTLY TEASE THE OUTCOME OF HIS SECOND BATTLE WITH ACE bc I don’t see another reason as to why Marissa Meyer (author) would alter the description of HIS powers and not everyone else’s 🥀

I finally watched the Wicked Movie with my mom and I had an idea (technically two) for a Wicked x Renegades AU.

One is just where they’re all a bunch of theater kids, which is a lot easier to write since it’s them acting as the characters.

My other idea was them actually being the characters, which is a bit more difficult so I would have to make a fee changes to the original story.

My ideas so far. Btw keep in mind this is based on the movie, I haven’t read the book yet so idk what changes the movie made.

-Nova as Elphaba, Evie as Nessarose. She would be Evie since in this AU she didn’t “die”.

-Ace as the Wizards lying ass

-Adrian as Galinda/Glinda (may change). I also really like the idea of the scene where Galinda and Elphaba first meet, and Galinda says “You’re green.”

-Max as Boq, the only change being he’s not in love with this AU’s Glinda (Adrian, because that’s disgusting.) and him and Evie were just really good friends.

-I kinda wanted Oscar to be Fiyero, and Adrian did have feelings for him but Oscar just knew Nova/Elphaba was right, which is why he went with her. So basically, yes Adrian x Oscar, no Nova x Oscar.

- Honey as Madam Morrible, definetly.

I’m trying to keep true to the general storyline but I’m struggling with things such as how Nova/Elphaba got her powers. In the movie, Elphaba’s mother cheated and that made Elphaba a mix of our world and OZ, but I don’t wanna make Nova’s mother a cheater. My other idea was that David would also be just a regular human, but that would mean Evie/Nessarose would have to have powers too.

Anyfizzle, if anyone has anymore ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
