Here I am prepping a local actress for her role as a realtor for the new Chase International commercial 🏘️ . Working on a person you've just met and convincing them to trust you is a delicate skill that comes with experience (mostly frictional) 😬 . How do you overcome nerves when dealing with strangers? You listen and watch for personality traits and preferences 🧐 . Sometimes their desires are unspoken and you must read body language and pickup on tiny verbal cues about what makes them happy 🙃 . Remembering the 80/20 rule that 80% of what you do is not as important as the vital 20% that gives you solid results, you must let go and let others contribute when they want to 😉 . We are all driving to the same destination and each of us must stay in our driving lane and focus on getting there as a team 😎 . Allison was very professional and contributory and an immense pleasure to work with 😇 . She was very good at doing her own hair and makeup, and my job with her was to check for definition, balance, and shine (powder) 🤓 . Our actor for a video shoot we did this week for Chase International got hit in the mouth with a baseball! 😲He was perfect for his role as a father and young grandpa of a couple needing to buy a new house, plus we had already put him in the commercial on Day 1. 🎬 Producers freaked out when they saw it and I just said, "aw, that's easy!" 🤓 .
