"Sure thing, dad."
A mischievous grin was planted on the half-demon's face, leaning against a plain wall. He loved it when he was given permission to mess with the recruits. Staying cooped up within a small and dull room most of the day was not his idea of fun. He was to watch them, silently, and keep them in line. A few of them knew Aiden was like a bad omen, and his presence meant to stay in tip-top shape or else.
However, the presence of an unfamiliar boy shook Aiden a little. Pink hair? Bit of a strange one, huh? He stood straight off the wall, golden eyes focused on this guy for some odd reason. "Who is that?" He asked aloud to himself, a quiet rasp before he cleared his throat when he received a confused look by a passerby. "It's nothing. Keep moving."
Certainly didn't feel like nothing. Instead it felt like the curiosity Aiden tried so hard to stamp out. Father wouldn't approve.
