Sitting down in Reos living room with him and Nagi. The couch being way too big for just the three of you, big windows showing off the outside view, his tv screen on as Nagi played some video game. The only sounds being heard was your talking and Nagis video game. The three off you would usually hangout at Reos place since he had a whole floor for himself and his parents never bothered you guys. You nudged your boyfriend, who was sitting next to you bringing his attention back to you.
“ I really wanted them to get together, I was rooting for them”
You pouted a little as you talked about the latest show you just finished watching. Reo shifted his attention back to you smiling.
“ Yeah they sound really cute”
He replied.
“ Yeah they were but I did get a little worried they weren’t gonna be endgame”
You kept on rambling about the latest fictional characters you choose to obsess over. Reo reached one hand up to move a strand of hair from your face as he hummed at what you were saying. His action caught you off guard. For a moment you stilled a bit, your attention shifting to Nagis game.
“ Mhm anyways what’s your game about?”
You asked Nagi still feeling a little flustered from Reos sudden action.
“ Nothing much”
He replied in a low voice.
“ Cmon Nagi it can’t be just nothing” Reo said leaning a little closer to Nagi. Nagi used his shoulder to push your boyfriend away.
“ Nothing really”
Nagi said again. You looked at the two of them before continuing on with your ramblings.
“ Anyways they make an interesting couple”
You said referring to the fictional characters. Reo had sat up leaning his back against the couch. He moved his head so he was looking at you.
“ Mhm sounds like it”
He said reaching one hand out for you to hold. You grabbed his hand with a smile as you sat down on one of his legs. Almost straddling his lap but not completely.
“ Too bad there aren’t any more episodes”
You said playing with his hand.
“ For the best probably”
Nagis voice caught you a little off guard as both you and Reo looked over at him.
“ Why?”
You asked confused, you didn’t think Nagi even payed attention to what you were talking about.
“ We’d never get a quiet moment if there were more episodes”
That made you still for a quick second. You stopped playing with Reos hand, feeling his body shake slightly at Nagis comment. The way he had said it, so casual and unbothered. You quickly looked up at Reo to see that he was laughing.
“ I am not even talking to you”
You shoot at Nagi with a semi irritated tone.
“ No but I can hear you”
He added, gaze focused on whatever he was playing. Feeling yourself get annoyed at him.
“ Then don’t listen focus on your stupid game again”
You said. Reo seemed to enjoy the slight banter between you and Nagi as he just sat back hiding his laugh with his free hand. His laughter didn’t go unnoticed by you as you squeezed his hand looking up at him.
“ Stop laughing”
You told him, your face scrunching up into something between a pout and an angry face.
“ Really wasn’t that funny”
Nagi said. Getting more irritated at him cause whose side was he on? You turned to Nagi.
“ Shut up”
You said. Nagi just looked at you quickly not even replying to you. Ever since you’d gotten closer to Nagi you two would always find something dumb to argue over. Nothing serious just little things like this and Reo loved it. He would always burst out laughing at your little angry reactions every time Nagi said something that wasn’t to your liking. When you didn’t know how to respond to Nagis half cold comments you’d look at Reo helplessly, silently asking him to take your side and tell Nagi off. The mini arguments never lasted longer than 5 minutes and before Reo knew it you and Nagi would team up against him making him the victim. So right now Reo just pulled you closer so your body was resting against his, one hand placed firmly on your back rubbing soothingly. The other hand still holding yours letting you play with it.
“ Just ignore him baby”
Reo said quietly placing a kiss to your forehead. You hummed at that.
“ Tell me about your show again, you had more to say right?”
He said. At that you perked up, sitting up again to look your boyfriend in the eyes.
“ No cause it ended in a good way but I just want to see more you know”
You continued, eyes lighting up in excitement. Reo just smiled at you looking absolutely lovestruck. Your ramblings continued on until you got tired of talking. You slumped down against Reo placing your head on his chest. Reos hand found its way to your hair massaging your scalp.
“ You’re so cute when you talk”
He told you. You giggled a little at that.
“ Thank you Reo” You said.
“ Why are you thanking me baby?”
He asked.
“ I don’t know”
You said quieter this time.
“ You talk a lot”
Nagi said suddenly.
“ Mhm I guess”
You replied nuzzling closer to Reo.
“ Perfect balance”
Reo said quietly. Both you and Nagi looked over at him confused. Reo chuckled a little at that, seeing two confused faces looking at him.
“ Yeah, you talk a lot”
He said squeezing your hand slightly.
“ And you’re quiet”
He said leaning his head back slightly to look at Nagi.
“ Perfect balance”
He said again. You reached both hands around his neck to hug him. This sudden action catching Reo a little off guard but he still held onto you nontheless.
“ Mhm” You hummed at his statement. “ But you still prefer my talking, right honey?”
You asked voice smug.
Nagi sighed not saying anything. He knew he’d already lost to you the moment he saw Reo smile down at you. Reo placed both hands on your cheeks squeezing your face slightly before he placed a quick kiss to your nose. When he pulled away your giggles were heard in the living room. Nagi didn’t even bother to comment on it, just going back to the game he was playing.
The rest of the afternoon was spent like that. You talking about whatever interested you at the moment, Reo listening to you with a love struck smile on his face and Nagi secretly enjoying having your voice as background noise.
