Boyfriend!Sae who’s not really into pda. He doesn’t want the unnecessary attention from other people. Despite this he still loves your touch. Your hand intertwined with his, you placing a sweet kiss on his cheek, you excitedly grabbing his arm when you’re on a walk.
Boyfriend!Sae who turns clingy the second you get home. After a long day of not being close to you he’s immediately reaching for you at home. Pulling you down to lay on his chest, back hugging you as you cook, laying his head on your lap when watching tv.
Boyfriend!Sae that would always say yes to you. You need his hand to try out new blush colors? He’s already offering it, you wanna try the new drink flavors at the cafe? He’s trying them with you, you want him to play video games together? He’d do it not without complaining a little tho.
Boyfriend!Sae who enjoys having you close. While he’s working out he loves having you just sit there scrolling on your phone or doing a workout of your own. He likes to spend time with you in the simplest ways.
Boyfriend!Sae who always has you placed firm and pretty on his lap when he’s forced to attend party’s or events with his teammates. He’d just let you sit there with his arm keeping a protective hold on you.
Boyfriend!Sae who wouldn’t feed into your bratty behavior. He’d give you a look and expect you to know what it means. You know but you choose to ignore it. He’d walk up to you, close enough to make you stop your next bratty comment. “ You done?” He’d ask with an unamused tone, watching you forget whatever you where about o say.
Boyfriend!Sae that would love late night beach dates. Just walking on the beach with you as you laugh about stupid stuff. He’d really feel at ease in those moments. The sound of the waves and the seagulls mixed together with your voice and laughter would really relax him.
You and Sae had to be up early in the morning to catch a flight for his away match. Sae had forced you both to go to sleep early so you could be well rested for tomorrow’s flight. You were squirming around in bed trying to find a comfortable spot where you could fall asleep. Next to you was Sae, sleeping peacefully. His dark pink hair sticking up in different directions and his bangs hung low over his forehead. You looked over at him envying his peaceful state. Letting out a frustrated sigh you turned around from your boyfriend trying to fall asleep.
“ Why can’t I fall asleep” You grumbled out in frustration. It wasn’t meant to be heard it was a loud thought that managed to slip out. Still facing away from your sleeping boyfriend you heard the sheets rustle and you felt the bed dip slightly. Two strong warms wrapped around your middle as Sae leaned closer to your body spooning you. His chin was resting atop of your head and one of his hands snaked under your sleep shirt to rub soothing patterns onto your stomach.
“ Get some sleep Cariño” Sae mumbled before pressing a small kiss to the crown of your head. You let out an irritated groan, subconsciously sucking in a breath during this action. Sae noticed, he felt your body tense up as he was spooning you.
“ What’s wrong?” He mumbled, pressing his hand deeper into the skin on your stomach in an attempt to calm your frustrations.
“ I can’t sleep” You huffed out. Sae placed another kiss onto your head.
“ It’s late and we have to be up early” He continued. You placed one of your hands over his, squeezing it slightly.
“ I know but I just can’t sleep” You said again. Your boyfriend let out a tired sigh. You felt his hand detach from your body as the warmth from him being pressed against you slowly disappeared. You turned your head over to see that Sae had sat up. You followed suit studying his actions.
“ Sae what are you doing?” You asked. He leaned over to his nightstand and clicked on his phone. The light form his phone illuminated his face, making his sharp ( but tired) features clear.
“ It’s already 2 in the morning” He murmured, not turning away from his phone. A soft wave off the beginning of a sad feeling washed over you as you crawled your way over to him. Gently you placed your head on his shoulder, hugging your arms around his waist.
“ I’m sorry” You mumbled. The two of you had to leave your apartment at 5.30 in order to catch your flight. You felt bad for disturbing Saes sleep knowing he had an important match waiting for him. Sae turned away from his phone, adjusting his position so he was hugging you back.
“ You can go back to sleep baby” You mumbled into him. You felt his hand make its way into your hair, gently massaging your scalp. Sae shook his head, not like you could see it from where you were laying onto him.
“ No cariño, we have to be up soon” He said. You waited a few seconds for him to continue but when he didn’t you spoke up.
“ You have an important match you should rest Sae” You tried again. Sae leaned back against the headboard, bringing your body with his during this action. Now you where almost laying down on top of him.
“ We can sleep on the plane” He said, as his hands started moving over your back, rubbing it gently. You hummed against him.
“ I look forward to your match, I wanna cheer for you” You said, smiling against his skin. Sae looked over at you, at your smaller body pressed up against his. A slight smile formed on his lips.
“ Mhm, I am counting on you” He replied, his eyes still glued on you. A soft giggle escaped your lips.
“ Shouldn’t I be saying that to you?” You asked, a hint of playfulness in your tone. Sae heard it and pinched your skin gently to get a reaction out of you.
“ Oww! Sae what was that for?”
You giggled against his chest, being too tired to lift your head up to look at him.
“ Go to sleep and use that energy to cheer for me”
He said, voice all serious. Your giggles stopped, being replaced by tired breaths.
“ Mhm I will” You hummed against him.
“ Good”
He replied quietly before tapping your back two times with his fingers. You hummed as a reply before lifting your head slightly to look up at him. None of you could make out many of the other’s features in the dark room. But you could still see his head leaning down a bit so it was closer to yours. You two stayed like that for a second before Sae closed the gap between you two, placing a soft kiss to your lips. You wrapped your hands around his neck leaning closer to him. Sae was the first one to pull away, he kept his gaze on you before moving one hand up to the back of your head.
“ Sleep now cariño, I’ll wake you up when it’s time”
He said while moving your head back to lay on his chest.
“ Okay..”
You tiredly mumbled into him.
“ I love you Sae, win your match later”
You said. Sae felt a smile form on his lips, a full smile, one he never dared to show others, one he only smiled when he was with you.
“ I love you too princess”
He mumbled, less tired than before because now all his attention was on you making sure you got at least a few hours of sleep before leaving. He sat there smiling at you, silently giggling laughing at your cuteness. When he was sure you had fallen asleep he leaned down again.

Being asleep in you and Saes bed waiting for him to come home from an away match. It was around 1.30am for you and you had fallen asleep waiting for him. Soft breaths left your mouth as you hugged your plushie closer. Your plushie that Sae had gifted you because you said it looked cute when you passed by it at the mall. You didn’t expect him to buy it for you but Sae deemed it necessary. It was a cinnamon bun plushie. At first you usually kept it as decoration in your room or sometimes you’d put it next to you when you slept, not cuddling it just having it sit there. You weren’t the type of person to cuddle things in your sleep. That was until you felt yourself missing your boyfriend a little too much when he was away. Before falling asleep you’d grab onto your plushie and hug it tightly, thinking about Sae as you drifted off to sleep. And that was exactly how Sae found you when he returned home after a few days overseas. He didn’t call out to you, knowing you’d probably be asleep so he just silently walked into your shared bedroom. His eyes landed on your sleeping figure, he couldn’t make out much of the scene at first since the room was dark. Sae carefully walked closer to you, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
“ I’m back home”
He said quietly as he brought one hand up to stroke your cheek. He reached his free hand over to the nightstand, clicking on the little night lamp that was standing there. A faint yellow light started to shine and that’s when he saw it: You cuddling the little cinnamon bun plushie he had bought for you. You stirred a little because of the light but you didn’t wake up. Sae watched you with a fond expression.
“ You’re actually cuddling that”
He mumbled.
“ Cute”
You let out a soft whine, turning your head closer to the plushie. Sae kept on looking at you like you were the most entertaining tv show he’d ever seen. To anyone else he might’ve looked bored, but if you saw him right know you’d know that he was laughing silently on the inside.
“ You’re ridiculous”
He whispered as a faint smile was tugging on his lips. His hand moved up to your hair softly massaging your scalp. You hummed softly in acknowledgement, hugging the plushie closer as you curled up into Saes touch. He tsked at that, continuing the motions on your head.
“ Cuddling that when I’m right here”
He said, no real bite to it. A satisfied expression formed on your face, almost making Sae think that you heard him. He leaned down to place a sweet careful kiss to your temple.
“ My pretty princess”
He said before pulling away. He stood up from the bed, reached for the covers before pulling them up a bit so they were covering more of you. He stayed like that for a few seconds, really taking in the sight of you cuddling your plushie he had bought for you. Something about this whole picture made something inside of him twitch in a warm way. He felt his heart soften looking at you.
“ I love you cariño”
He whispered as he placed one final kiss to your temple before heading to the bathroom to shower.
You and Kaiser were sitting in your shared hotel room. The World Cup had just begun and Kaiser of course had to watch every single game. You didn’t mind, honestly you also wanted to watch the games. For you it was entertaining and exciting to watch but for Kaiser it was different. He kept his gaze on the tv screen looking way to focused. He was leaning against the bed frame with you propped up beside him. Your head resting on his shoulder as his tattooed hand absentmindedly played with your hair. The match had been going on for about 20 minutes and one player aimed his shot directly at the goal. You gasped quietly at that while silently hoping he’d score. When he didn’t you let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding in. Kaiser felt you do that and gave a light squeeze to your head.
“ It was obvious”
He mumbled. You didn’t respond to your boyfriend immediately knowing he had more to add.
“ It was right in front of the goalkeeper, was obvious he was going to catch it”
Kaiser observed. You tilted your head up a bit to study his expression. As you expected his blue eyes held their signature sharp look. Kaiser wasn’t smirking like usual instead his expression was something softer, not soft enough for others to notice but soft enough for you.
“ Mhm he could have done it better”
You half whispered with a giggle. Without moving his eyes from the tv screen Kaiser brought his hand down your sides.
“ That’s right angel”
He said with a light squeeze to your arm.
The match continued and a player got a yellow card.
“ Oh no”
You said with a small voice, not expecting an answer at your loud thought. Kaiser let out a sigh, pulling you closer in the action.
“ That’s was a shitty move”
He commented as you both watched a repeat of the play that got a yellow card.
“ Idiot pushed to hard, no shit you get a card for that”
He said. You giggled at him.
“ You’ve done that in matches too”
You said with a smile.
“ Against your own teammate at that”
Kaisers focused look turned into a smirk. He looked down at you.
“ Have I now?”
He asked knowing the answer. You shifted so you were almost facing your boyfriend, his hand still on your arm rubbing up and down.
“ Yeah!”
You beamed almost excitedly.
“ In the nel with Isagi”
You said. Kaiser let out a chuckle before leaning closer to you. His face was now almost crashing with yours.
“ You’re imagining things baby”
He said before placing a quick kiss to your lips.
“ Noo”
You giggled after you had pulled away. Kaiser leaned his back against the headboard again, this time pulling you almost on top of him. You were practically straddling one of his thighs with your head resting under his chin.
“ They all suck”
Kaiser mumbled, shifting his focus back to the match.
“ Don’t say that”
You smiled while also being focused on the match.
“ Can’t wait to get out there and show the world how real soccer looks”
He said. At that you shifted your gaze up to Kaisers fully expecting him to say it with a smirk but instead he looked calm. No cockiness or smirk in his tone just the quiet confidence of someone that knows exactly what they’re doing. You shifted your gaze back to the tv and the match. A small smile was forming on your lips.
“ I know you will” You told him.
“ I’ll stand there when you win”
You said. Kaiser looked at you this time, seeing the crown of your head. Your nose and your lips were highlighted by the light from the tv along with your hair color that seemed to take on a brighter shade under the light. Kaiser placed a quick kiss on your head before squeezing your body closer to his. Only a few more hours until it was Kaisers turn to play and he had all the support he needed right next to him.

Your heart was racing. You could feel the adrenaline rush spread through your body but it was annoying, it wasn’t a good high that motivated you to keep going. It was an annoying sensation in your veins brought on by stress. Your family had been to much and you had a few work things to catch up on. You were waiting for Sae at the soccer field his team was practicing on. You tried to track the players with your eyes but it was cold outside and your heart was racing so fast. The chilly weather mixed with your unwanted adrenaline rush made your body shake. You just tried to push through and hope that Sae was done soon. Before you could get to irritated you saw the players walk towards the bench where you were sitting. Sae approached you and took a quick glance at your shaking body. He reached forward to grab a small towel, he purposely positioned his mouth near your ear.
“ You’re shaking”
He observed, waiting for a response from you.
“ Mhm it’s cold”
You bit back and you were sure that Sae could hear in your tone that something was wrong. He did but he didn’t say anything at first, he just grabbed his towel and placed it behind his shoulders.
“ I’ll hurry”
He blankly said. You didn’t look up at him and just hummed as a reply. Saes teammates had already left for the locker room. He followed suit and after about 10 minutes he got back to you.
“ Let’s go”
He called out, waiting for you to walk over to him.
“ What’s wrong?”
He asked, noticing that you still seemed tense.
“ Nothing, my hearts just racing”
You answered.
“ Racing?” He asked. “ How?”
You let out a sigh as you ran a hand through your hair.
“ I don’t know, it’s just beating uncomfortably fast”
You said. Sae hummed before grabbing your hand. He felt how cold your skin was. With his free hand he placed two fingers on your wrist to feel your pulse.
“ It really is beating fast”
He said. At that you looked over at him with an irritated expression.
“ What’s that for”
You asked rather aggressively.
“ Now you’re looking at me”
He said. You didn’t answer immediately as you tried to study his facial expression.
“ I am not mad at you” You said.
“ Never said you were”
He replied, still holding onto your hand. Your eyes were glued on his. His teal eyes were looking right back at you, he looked a bit tired and his cheeks were slightly flushed from the practice he just had. You felt your face crumble slightly at the sight of him, all you wanted to do was to let Sae embrace you, so that’s exactly what you did. You flicked your hand out of his hold before placing your head directly onto his chest, letting your arms drop down on your sides. Sae was a little taken aback by your sudden action. Hurriedly he put one hand around your body holding you close to him.
“ What are you doing cariño?”
He asked. You let out a breath you didn’t even know you were holding in.
“ I just wanna be close to you”
You shyly mumbled into his chest. Saes hand on your back was rubbing slow circles on it.
“ Did something happen, You aren’t hurt right?”
He asked a little worried.
“ I’m fine”
You said, slowly detaching your head from his chest. You looked up at him with a pout.
“ I wanna go to your place”
You said, still looking up at him.
“ Don’t wanna be at home”
Sae nooded at that, understanding your home situation and how you didn’t have it the best with your family.
“ Alright princess, we’ll go to my place” He reassured as his hand was still rubbing your back. You gave him a small smile.
“ We’re having dinner too, so what do you wanna eat?”
He asked. Your eyes drifted away for a moment, indicating that you were thinking. You let out a small hum before settling on something.
“ I want pizza”
You answered with a smile. Sae just stared at you.
“ Greasy food is bad for your skin”
He said, with the most plain looking face ever. You rolled your eyes playfully.
“ But I want it”
You tried giving him your biggest softest eyes knowing how he’d always fold for them. It seemed to be working as he sighed and nudged your back slowly, trying to pry you away.
“ Let’s go then”
He said. You let out a soft giggle as you pulled away from his chest. You grabbed his hand before you both started walking away.
“ Thanks Sae”
You said. He tsked, looking forward as you two walked hand in hand.

You where glancing at a cute hirono figure from outside the shop. Kaiser was a few steps ahead, rambling on about his latest practice and how annoying his teammates were.
“ And they were so fucking shit, couldn’t do anything”
He said as he walked forwards, his back straightened up in a confident manner. When you didn’t answer Kaiser stopped in his steps, turning his head slightly.
“ Angel why aren’t you saying anything?”
He asked, his eyes landing on your figure. You were looking through the window with big eyes. Kaiser couldn’t quite see what you were so focused on.
“ Y/n, you hear me?”
He called again. When you didn’t answer this time he walked over to you. Your gaze was focused on the silly little figure displayed through the window. You had lifted your hands up to the window glass to get a close look.
“ What are you looking at?”
You heard Kaisers voice, pulling you out of your focused daze.
“ Look how cute he is”
You beamed excitedly tapping your fingertips against the window glass. Kaisers gaze shifted from you to the little figure that had taken over all of your attention.
" Mhm, cute”
He hummed, not being as impressed by them as you were.
“ And look there’s the whole collection”
You continued, pointing your finger at the rest of the hirono figures excitedly.
“ They’re so cute baby, don’t you think?”
You asked again, half unaware of the fact that you’d already asked him that. Kaisers blue eyes where still glued onto the figures you where pointing at, he didn’t think they where that cute. He let out a sigh as he started walking towards the store.
“ Let’s have a closer look if you like them that much”
He said, reaching his hand out for you to grab. You smiled happily as you grabbed his hand, following him into the store. You held onto Kaisers hand as you looked around the store, pointing and showing him all the figures you found cute. Kaiser had gone quiet, for the most part just listening to you talk about what figures you liked the most.
“ The sleepy one is my favorite, he just looks so cute”
You rambled on about one figure from the collection.
“ Reminds me of you cause you’re always so tired”
He said with a smirk, giving your hand a light squeeze. You went quiet for a moment still smiling at him.
“ Mhm he’s my twin”
You exclaimed. Kaiser let out a chuckle as he turned more towards you so you were standing face to face. He reached his free hand up to your hair ruffling it slightly.
“ You just need a pillow on your head, then you’re him”
He smirked, referring to the sleepy figure. You rolled your eyes playfully before swatting his hand away.
“ Whatever”
You mumbled with a smile, turning away from him so you weren’t face to face anymore.
“ Let’s go, I’ve seen them now”
You said, tugging lightly at his hand.
“ Didn’t you want one?”
Kaiser asked, not walking ahead with you. You didn’t turn around.
“ No it’s okay, I don’t have money right now anyways”
You replied.
“ That’s not what I asked angel”
He said, his voice dropping an octave as he walked the remaining steps closer to you.
“ Do you want one?”
He asked again. You felt your cheeks heat up a bit at his direct question. Stumbling a little over your words you managed to let out an answer.
“ N-no it’s fine really”
You responded, trying to sound composed and unbothered.
“ Let’s go somewhere you want now”
You tried to change the topic. Kaiser tugged at your hand, not enough to hurt just enough to turn you around to face him. His face was looking way to serious for this occasion and his blue eyes where looking right at you.
“ We’re not leaving without your figure” He said, voice low and serious, the hint of a smirk tugging on his lips.
“ Pick out the one you want angel”
You hesitated for a moment.
“ Are you sure, you really don’t have to”
You said, feeling a little guilty at the thought of him spending his money on you.
“ I have to and I want to, so pick out the one you want angel”
He replied, studying your face.
“ What’s with that face?”
He chuckled at your expression, not really sure what emotion it was supposed to convey.
“ That hard to accept a gift from me?”
He teased, earning a not so threatening glare from you.
“ No not at all”
You said, already walking towards the blind boxes with the hirono figures you’d been eyeing.
“ Then we’re both getting one, we can open them together”
You said as you grabbed onto two little blind boxes. Kaiser starred at them, then back up at you.
“ I’m getting one?”
He asked almost a bit confused. You nooded at him.
“ Mhm we can match, and I can’t be the only one getting something”
You said, the last part shyer and quieter as you kept your eyes on them. Kaiser noticed as he grinned at you.
“ So thoughtful my angel”
He teased. At that you brought one box up to his chest, hitting him lightly with it. It didn’t do any damage at all as Kaiser just grinned at you, taking both boxes from your hand.
“ Alright I’ll pay for these”
He said, holding them in one hand, finding yours with the other. You grabbed onto it.
“ Thank you Kaiser, I really appreciate it”
You said, voice full of sincerity.
“ Yeah yeah and you love me, what’s new”
He responded to that, sounding way to confident.
“ Mhm something like that”
You replied, with a playful roll to your eyes. Kaiser took a quick glance at you, seeing your happy expression. He decided to not tease anymore just squeeze your hand lightly as a reply before walking over to pay for the boxes.
Epilogue: At home you and Kaiser opened the boxes. Kaiser got the sleepy one with the pillow on his head and you got the one with a hat and a sleeping mask. Kaiser still wasn’t impressed with the figures but he loved seeing you so happy about them. So it was definitely worth it and he’d do it again and again.

6.30 and your alarm woke Toji up first. He looked over at your sleeping form, seeing your relaxed features as the alarm was going on in the background. He quickly turned it off before he reached one hand over to gently stroke your cheek.
“ Baby your alarm”
He quietly grumbled as he watched you stirr slightly. You threw one arm over his chest, turning your full body closer to his as you grumbled tiredly. Toji watched you in amusement for a second, feeling your soft skin on his own. He remained still as he smirked down at you.
“ S’time to wake up”
He quietly said. You whined as you tucked your head further into his chest.
“ No to early”
You mumbled into him, feeling him shift as one hand was pressed onto your side just resting there. The warmth from Tojis hand just made you sleepier. Toji noticed this as he watched you nuzzle closer to him.
“ No can’t have that doll”
He said as he moved to sit up.
“ Tojiii noo”
You tiredly whined at the feeling of his movements. Your body was now slumped down on the bed, head resting partly on Tojis lap. He chuckled at your whines as he carefully sat up from the bed, making sure to not hurt your head in the process. At the loss of contact with his lap you just nuzzled further into the bed, seeking warmth from the covers. Toji let out a sigh before crouching down to meet your level.
“ Cmon baby, you’re gonna be late”
At that you moved your head up to look at him, you watched his expression turn into something softer. His eyes relaxing at the sight of you.
“ Good morning pretty”
He smirked, as this was the first time this morning he got to see your whole face. Your hair was messy from tossing and turning in your sleep, eyes not as big and soft as usual and some small sun dots on your face.
“ Morning Toji”
You mumbled as you brought one hand up to rub your eyes.
“ Need to wash my face”
You continued as your hand was moving over your eyes. Skincare was always the first thing you did after waking up.
“ Mhm come here then”
Toji said, reaching his arms out, wanting to carry you to the bathroom. You smiled slightly, standing up on your knees before wrapping both arms around his neck. Your body made contact with his, your arms securing their hold on his neck while his strong grip held you up against him, making sure you didn’t fall.
“ You’re so soft”
You tiredly mumbled into his neck while he was walking towards the bathroom. His heavy hold on you and his naturally warm skin made you want to fall asleep again. Toji chuckled at that.
“ Yeah? Don’t fall asleep on me”
He said, still carrying you.
“ Mhm no promises”
You mumbled against him, a small smile tugging on your lips.
“ My sleepy girl”
He smirked as he felt your smile on his skin. When he reached the bathroom he placed you down on the counter, standing in between your legs, with one hand on your thigh. Your hands moved to his shoulder as you kept eye contact with him. Toji smirked up at you, moving his free hand to cup your cheek. You leaned into his touch.
“ Slept well?”
He asked. You nooded at that, watching him reach for your face soap.
“ Yeah and I had a nice dream”
You replied. Toji squeezed out some face soap into his palm before turning back to you.
“ You had? Tell me about it”
He said, rubbing the soap onto his hands.
“ Hmm I don’t know where to start”
You said, scrunching your face up, thinking. Toji chuckled at that.
“ Start anywhere”
He said. “ And close your eyes”
You did as he said, closing your eyes before you felt his hands gently rub the soap onto your skin.
“ I could walk into pictures, and experience them”
You started, leaning into his touch. When he was done he gently patted your cheek.
“ Really, that sounds cool doll”
He replied. You opened your eyes to see him already looking at you with a fond expression.
“ Yeah it was, but then I got worried that I could never exit the picture”
You rambled on as Toji washed is hands. When he was done, you got off from the counter and washed away the soap from your face. Toji waited for you to finish before he spoke up again.
“ Did you leave or did the alarm pull you away from the photo?”
He asked, reaching for your makeup bag.
“ Hmm, honestly I think it was a mixture of both”
Toji handed you your mascara, knowing that was the first step in your makeup routine. You smiled at him, a silent reply to his action.
“ Like I was in the picture, then the worry hit me and I worried instead of enjoying it I think”
You explained. Toji had sat down on the closed toilet lid, listening to your ramblings.
“ You’re always worrying baby, even in your dreams”
He chuckled, you quickly looked over at him.
“ Yeah seems like it, but it was fun”
You said.
“ Alright then, tell me more doll”
He said, getting ready for more details about your dream. Toji loved mornings like this, where he could just wake up to the sound of your voice. Guiding you through the mornings, that were a bit hard for you since you hated waking up early. But this routine worked for the both of you, and Toji loved it.

You and Shoko were sitting down on her bedroom floor. Some empty alcohol bottles that you two had been sharing were placed next to you and all that could be heard was some music playing and the giggles from the two of you. You nuzzled closer to Shoko, laying your head on her shoulder. She extended her arm, opening her hand asking you to grab onto it. You wordlessly did.
“ You know you get clingy when you’re drunk”
She said as she looked infront of her, not at anything specific just looking. You giggled into her, lifting your head from her shoulder, focusing your gaze on your intertwined hands.
“ But it’s cute, you’re always cute”
She continued. You raised your head at this, just enough so that you could look at her. You saw her staring at nothing.
“ You always say that but you never accept when I call you pretty”
You pouted with your big eyes still looking at her. Shoko turned her head towards you. She smiled before bringing one finger up to poke your nose.
“ Because you are the cutest”
She said again. You giggled before leaning into her, embracing her in a hug. She reciprocated and hugged you back. Your arms easily wrapped around her body, you felt the dip of her waist as you hugged around her, burying your face into her shoulder. Shoko was right, you did get clingy when you got drunk, maybe because intimacy was something you struggled with when being sober. You always wanted to initiate some sort of physical touch with the other girl but your awkward self and insecurities always got in the way. So it felt nice being able to be close to her like this. Between the two of you Shoko was always the clingier one. She was the first one to pull away from the hug, placing both hands on your shoulder afterwards. A new song started playing, one with a more sensual rnb vibe. You both felt the vibe shift as you started giggling putting one hand over your mouth to cover it up.
“ What?”
Shoko asked. She also started giggling after hearing you.
“ What’s so funny?”
She continued, her arms still on your shoulders as you two were inches apart. You removed your hands from your mouth before answering.
“ You’re h-holding me like that as a sex song is p-playing”
You half giggled half stuttered but you didn’t break eye contact with her. Another thing alcohol did to you, making you able to hold eye contact with people especially Shoko.
She pushed away from you slightly, still laughing. You two weren’t even apart for a second before you crawled closer to her again, almost straddling her lap. This caught her a bit off guard but she grabbed onto your waist regardless.
“ Don’t push me away”
You mumbled, looking at her. Even though you kept eye contact she could tell that you were getting shyer.
“ I wanna be close to you”
You said, leaning your face closer to hers. Your arms wrapped themselves around her neck.
“ Always”
You continued.
“ You have me right here angel”
She said as she pulled you into her lap. You were now straddling her lap, looking down at her. A light pink color spread across your cheeks at how close you were, you always thought about how it would feel to be this close to her, your best friend. Shoko just looked at you with an unreadable expression, but it wasn’t an uncomfortable one. She liked having you this close. You could both hear each other’s breaths through the music.
“ S-Shoko..”
You breathed as you kept your eyes fixed on her.
“ Yes angel”
She answered.
“ I..I-I’ve always wanted to be this close to you”
You said, something your sober self could never admit. She smiled at you.
“ I love when you’re clingy with me”
She told you, a blush creeping up on her cheeks. You smiled at that.
“ I always wanna reach my hands out to you, grab you, hold you, b-but..”
You started but couldn’t continue cause you didn’t know how to. Shoko noticed and brought one hand up to your lips.
“ Shh sweetheart, you have me here right?”
She said, her words working like medicine on you because you felt more at ease instantly.
“ Every little touch from you means everything to me angel”
She said, smiling up at you. You smiled back. In the semi serious moment you suddenly burst into laughter. Shoko just looked at you confused.
“ This is leading up to us kissing”
You said laughing. Shoko shyly looked away.
“ I-I’ve never made out with anyone before”
She shyly admitted. Your laughter stopped before you put one finger under her chin, bringing her face back to yours.
“ We won’t do anything you don’t want, you set the pace okay?”
You tried to reassure, making her uncomfortable was the last thing you wanted. She nodded. You pulled her closer before leaning in. You felt Shokos plump lips on yours. Her hands squeezed tighter around your waist as you nibbled on her bottom lip with your tongue, asking for an entrance. She parted her lips making space for your tongue. The kiss tasted like a mix of her lipgloss and some sour alcohol that you had drunk earlier. It was sweet, you couldn’t remember how you thought it would feel to kiss her cause you had the real thing right there. It felt real, alive, like it would really be you two forever. You brought one hand up to her hair, playing with it as your lips was still pressed on hers. Shoko let out small breaths as she leaned more into the kiss. You were the first one to pull away. The two of you were trying to catch your breaths.
“ How did it feel?”
You asked when your breathing was back to normal. Shoko giggled as she laid down on the floor bringing you with her.
“ Good”
She replied. You crawled off from her, laying next to her instead. She moved her head onto one of your shoulders, putting one hand over your stomach.
“ I am so thankful for you”
She mumbled into your shirt. This caught you off guard a bit.
“ I am thankful for you”
You replied, feeling the butterflies in your stomach at your words.
“ I love you angel”
She said. You peeked down at her quickly, smiling. For this moment you let the alcohol control you and forget about how she was only your best friend.
“ I love you too Sho”
You said, hoping that this could be your reality forever.
