                   9. Wearing just a towel

It was a while since the last Ethan met Yukwon but he knew he didn’t move in somewhere else since then, so due to the fact that both of them knew what was the real nature of each other, the alien thought it’d be good if he drop by for no reason at all.

When he arrived his door, Ethan knocked and received no answer but he was sure Yukwon was there. There was no signal of him leaving his place and he was more than sure about that, so he simply decided to go inside. Yukwon couldn’t kill him so that was okay. Walking in his house was a bit…different when he was by himself but that didn’t make him uncomfortable, he couldn’t feel such feeling anyway.

After a couple of minutes wandering around, Ethan then walked into Yukwon’s room and saw him wearing just a towel around his waist, water drops shining on his torso and his wet hair on his face. “Ah, so you’re here.” He said simply, not really minnding the other being half naked in front of him, though his eyes ran by his body. “Are you busy? I have no one to go to so—”

After having a full-schedule day, Ethan was exhausted, and ignoring completely the girl who was in his house that day, he went straight to his room, changing clothes and throwing himself on his king-sized bed. If there was something Ethan didn’t like was to talk when he was sleepy, mainly because his mood was shitty and he didn’t like to be rude to anyone. Especially to that girl, she didn’t deserve that, so he only pretended she was not there. It’d be better for both of them. Soon enough he fell asleep.

After some time of sleep, a sudden bump on his bed made the alien wake up startled, widened eyes looking for the origin of that, finding the girl that was visiting him on the edge, her legs out of the bed, wet hair and rumpled clothes. “..did you take a shower?” His voice was still husky because he was sleepy, fingers rubbing his eyes as he sat up to help her to come on his bed properly, trying to fix her now all messed up hair. “Do you want to sleep here?”

Ethan knew she had that habit of taking showers in sleepless nights, and knowing that his house was not the best place for someone else but him to stay, he wondered if she was feeling comfortable in sleeping in the other room. Receiving at least a nod in response, the dark-skinned alien let her snuggle into the mattress, bringing the blankets up to her shoulders and patting it gently. That was what people in movies did, so he did well, right? Humans were still confusing to him.

Then again, resting his head on his pillow and closing his eyes right away, not minding having her right beside of him, Ethan felt the female snuggling against his back, but it was too late.

He had already fell asleep.

Reading was never a tiring activity if you have the right book in hands, even more when the silence filled the room. Ethan was sat on his couch, despite of having a visitor. Ariel said he wanted to see him and there he was, on the other side of the room, looking at all those book on the shelves. The male was reasy to get concentrate on the book when a wild wind came and messed all around, books and pages flying all around the room. 'Why', that was what came popped up into Ethan's mind in that moment.

With pursed lips and closed eyes to keep calm, the alien pressend his fingers against his temples, not even daring to stand up to fix something.

                        "What just happened again, Ariel?"

"People are strange."

"I fully agree with you." Ethan sighs, giving him a single nod. "I can’t understand humans completely…"

(Ethan) "Is that blood on your hands?"

              “Yeah.”

Ethan replied, pursing his lips in discontentment while looking at her. Then he sighed, pointing to a small pot with fake blood, showing that was nothing what she thought.

                               ”It can keep kids away for a while.”

"Are you insane?!"

Ethan lowered his sight to the female in front of him, the attempt of ignoring her was not working since she kept trying to catch his attention to something he tried to ignore to continue with his daily life. “What do you want now, Scarlett?”
