Nonsexual acts of Intimacy

It happened out of the blue. Nothing special, Jack was busy pacing with a document in hand and Vaas was simply sitting across the room, watching him. The music was on and surprisingly it wasn’t Taylor Swift. 

Left, right, left, right–

It was getting pretty annoying for the bandit. There wasn’t any tension unlike how Hoyt would whenever a problem occurred in their business, but still, the pace was pretty nerve wrecking. 

“Princesa.”

But the Hyperion CEO didn’t hear him. Far too focused on the file in hand. The longer he looked at the statistics, the more ache in his head started.

It was a sales report. Hyperion still dominated the market; pulling in the majority for the growth, however, other weapons provider and manufacturer still brings the bigger profit, and one of them is catching up fast with the number of audience count. Really, this won’t do to their company–

“Baby girl.”

Jack furrowed his brows, flipping through pages back and forth - the pace increasing. He wasn’t sure if the younger man spoke but he still replied. “What is it, kitten?”

“Jackie, what’s wrong?” 

Jack didn’t notice the other approaching. “Just… ha. Hyperion stuff. The competition and yada yada. Hyperion is still there but I’m losing users - can’t seem to friggin’ retain most of them. What’s so good about other guns? Geez. Loyalty to the brand, come on!” 

Jack didn’t notice the other pulling him close. “Can’t kill competition either. That’ll just make things worse. It’s fine. It’s cool… I’m sure things will change for the next report. But I can’t just relax. This will go pretty messy if I just let this happen.” 

Then Jack noticed that the paper in his hand was being pulled away from him. “Vaas? What? I’m not in the mood for your weird shit. I’m stressing over here and what- what are you doing? Give that back–”

The only response he got was a smile and those eyes that could literally do wonders - like making the stress tone down a bit. “What? Why are you looking at me like that?” 

The reply was just him being pulled closer and hushed. It was only then that he realized what position they are in. His head was on the other’s neck, his arm around the other, and his free hand being held up. 

“You’re stressed, Jackie. You’re stressed, okay? I get that. I get it. I know these things, Jackie. And you need this. Trust me.”

Vaas led him, swaying slowly side to side. And Jack didn’t get it. Dancing? Why was this happening? He was never good with dancing. He was about to pull away when he felt a hand on his behind. And then, that annoying squeeze. 

“You’re a dick.” Jack said, trying to be mean, but there was no harshness in his voice. He thinned his lips, knowing Vaas wouldn’t let him go that easily. Then again, he didn’t want it to stop. He didn’t want to go to bed too preoccupied with work anyway.

Vaas was right, he thought. He definitely needed this.
