Protection Spell Jar

This was made by me for a friend who needed some protection in an unsafe relationship until she was able to leave. Its ingredients are for the purposes of protection, reflecting and cleansing negativity. You don't need to use as many ingredients if you want to go simpler or don't have every one.

You'll need:

Mugwort

Nettle

Lavender

Bay

Obsidian

Amethyst

Hematite

Clear Quartz

Blue candle

Protection sigil of your choice

Nails (or any other sharp objects)

Light your blue candle and assemble the jar. I used a mortar and pestle to combine the herbs.

Put in as many nails (or any other sharp object) as you feel necessary

Place in the crystals and your sigil of choice.

Drip some blue wax into the opening and seal.

My friend was here with me so I had her hold the bottle and concentrate on visualizing a white barrier all around her.

Then say:

I call forth spirits and the power of the herbs and stones to cleanse my space, my home, my person, and to drive all negativity away

I ask for blessings in it's wake and protection from all further negativity

By dark of night or light of day

Through clouded sky or perfect sun

Shield my spirit, body, mind from blessed hour till day is done

Follow me through my earthly charge

Ease my path with every step

Make my lessons hard but kind

And help to dry each tear I've wept

Keep the jar on your person.

I let the candle burn down.

The jar is sealed with red wax which will add courage and health to the spell. Place this spell jar near you in areas where you feel negative energies or on your altar to repel any negativity that enters your household.
