what’s even worse about that scene is that regardless how you play max clearly wants to tell waldo about her powers but then  if you get that line max laughs and likes brushes it off but like?? this is supposed to be her one friend that she feels comfortable around and he just straight up says he wants to have sex with her, and she just has to push through it and continue talking so she can get to that place where she’s telling him what’s up.

“You think he’ll be expelled?” Max asks.

Luke stops tapping at his phone and meets Max’s eyes. In the weeks she’s known him, Luke’s ever only utterly cheerful or righteously pissed off. He looks now like he’s confused as he considers the question.

“Shit.” He says then, and his faces scrunches up. “I mean, he brought a gun. If this doesn’t get him out I should just transfer myself.”

luke doesnt talk max up to brooke like waldo did (see: w**ren said you were smart/w**ren said you were multifaceted) so brooke doesn’t automatically look down on max the way she had ingame

that said, max still feels rather clueless on whether brooke and her are even friends
