Balo was still trying to wrap her head around everything that happened, Logan going missing, him returning with a warning from the Churchill Circle. Maybe it was because she was easily frightened, but the whole concept terrified her if Logan was lucky to be intact - what would they do next time. Was the circle willing to kill?

It was needless to say the girl who had nightmares after watching Rugrats woke up in the middle of the night, crying, terrified and shaking. Usually, she would seek out her cousin, but she didn’t really want to bother him, so she decides to go to the next safest person. 

She’s still shaking a bit as she leaves her room and goes to the door she was looking for, knocking on it. “Asher.” Her voice is soft, the fact she was crying was very apparent in her words. “I had a nightmare, can I hide with you?” She was vulnerable, there was no doubt about that.

“Well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes. Good morning, Asher!” Ches smiles at him as she invades his table, not even bothering asking him for permission to sit down before she does. If he had a problem with it, he was just going to have to deal with it - she missed him, she was stealing his attention during breakfast. “Sleep well? I didn’t but I have the best idea!” She grins before she takes a bite of her bagel, holding up a finger as she chews to signal she wasn’t even close to done with that thought.

“We should start a pyramid scheme, one of the more culty ones though - you know - like the Church of Scientology or some shit. You’re pretty, I bet we could convince people to join and pocket the money for ‘administration purposes.’” Okay, so it was a thought she had in the middle of the night that had stuck with her which probably meant wasn’t actually a good idea. But honestly, any idea she started with the phrase ‘the best idea’ was probably just a shitty impulsive idea she hadn’t shook yet. “If we write a bible or toss in some kinda product, it’s legal. As long as there’s some kind of product, the government calls it an MLM.”

Honestly, Ches didn’t even need the money - she had more than enough to get by for the rest of her life without lifting as much as a finger if she wanted to, but she was bored and it sounded better than... rereading the books in the library again or something she’d already done a few times like that.

“Hey Asher, enjoying the free vacation?” Ches smiles at him, quickly glancing around to see if Trini was around before she makes herself too comfortable. The last thing she wanted on this birthday vacation was to accidentally become a third wheel on a date or something, that would be awkward. “I was wondering if you’d be interested in grabbing breakfast with Care and I in the morning? I’m asking you first just because you’re the most likely to say no.” She doesn’t beat around the bush on the though, although it’s clear she doesn’t hold it against him if he does say no.

He had a life, if she had a solid relationship right now she’d be busy too. Plus, she hadn’t seen him around as much since they both transferred to Luxor. In fact, it felt like she’d seen more of Caroline - and the girl had left for a week. So, there was always the chance he would rather not go to breakfast with the girls and grab it with some of the newer people in his life.
