Watching this episode really shows how enduring and patient Sully is: David, Dr. Burke, the Reverend... I mean, he really loves her.

Absolutely.

I mean, say what you will about Sully's mistakes and run ins with the law, but he really is such a good man. He truly loves Michaela, and he loves the children. He is so devoted to his family and to his role as a husband and father, and that's a really beautiful thing.

Good points on everything, another huge weird thing to me was seeing Sully smoke in Mexico and also WHILE shooting people. So out of character, nothing cool about it.

OMG yes! I totally forgot about that. Sully would never.

Apparently Beth Sullivan had no creative control over this movie and the network was trying to reach a demographic of teenage boys who never watched Dr. Quinn in the first place. Why? I have no idea…. so stupid.

Omg, yes! And that was in Season 2-- one of the first times Matthew ever calls her Ma. He's just so terrified and needs his mother. Aahh...It breaks my heart!

At times I wish that by the end of the series the writers would have had him call her Ma all the time, like Colleen eventually does. But then again, the moments when he does call her Ma are so special because of their rarity and that would have been lost.

I do love that those moments always have a purpose-- it's either because he's hurt, like in "Crossing the Line" and "The Offering," or he's comforting her, or he's just really grateful for her in that moment, but they always indicate a strong emotional moment between them as mother and son.

I know right?! 

They're even at Paramount Ranch! That's something I never thought I would see again. All of them together, in costume, and on the same set! I don't even care if it's totally stupid... I. Am. So. Excited!

Do you see Jane Seymour in that costume?! She looks exactly the same! I mean, everyone looks really good, but Jane and Joe look amazing.

It's just beyond exciting to see them all together again! :)
