"Have you even had a break today?" Tommy pops up along side Josh with two burgers in hand. Silently, he hands one of them to his friend, moving to unwrap the one for himself, basically declaring Josh's lunch break himself. "The food gets better every year," he mumbles with a mouthful of burger, tipping his head back as not to lose the bite in the process.

"This the place?" Tommy asks as he raises his foot off the gas. Whilst they'd been out in farm land for a bit now he could see a sign growing as they approached - The Animal Sanctuary - greeting him mere moments after he'd asked. This was not where he thought his day would go when he awoke - a stray comment about always wanting a dog to Josh had formed into a plan to casually go look at the shelter where his friend found Toshiko. "What are the chances we find Esperanza already here? Doesn't she have, like, a bunch of dogs?" he jokes as he turns off the main road and finds a place to park his jeep among the other cars.
