semi-plotted starter for @silverxwarrior
Being asked to go on patrol with Allison and Christopher had been a highlight for Isaac. There was a new threat in town, vampires draining people of blood. And Isaac? Well, he’d caught the scent at one of their crime scenes behind the club. Christopher decided to wander off on his own, keeping check of any new leads. The scent brought Isaac to the edge of town. It was a strange scent, somewhat musky, like a dead body nearly. It wasn’t pleasant, that was for sure. “At least I’m somewhat useful tonight.” Isaac mused, glancing to the huntress who seemed decked out in an arsenal, head to toe. It was strange seeing Allison once more, remembering how the oni had taken her life. The fact she’d lost her memories also made Isaac feel a little on edge around her. Still, it was nice to have a familiar face in town whom he could rely on. Coming back to Beacon Hills had been strange enough, memories so distant yet still haunting all the same. Seeing Allison alive and well just made it that much stranger. Not that Isaac was complaining, he wouldn’t. She still kicked ass, that hadn’t changed. “Here. The scent goes this way.” It was growing stronger as they pressed onward. Then, Isaac spotted something shimmering along the grass near the reserve. Bending down, his fingers grazed the metallic, crimson blood in the dirt. “This is fresh.” Canting his head upwards, he looked at Allison. “They’re close.” They still didn’t know how many vampires were out there, or what they were really walking into.
