these trials the entity cycled them through...
he was getting the hang of them worryingly quickly.
worrying, scary only to the survivors, of course.
because the red pyramid being good at this
meant absolute slaughter for them.
him knowing midwich in and out only made things worse.
the executioner found himself in a chase; with two survivors down,
there were two more to go. and one was about to go down next.
why he went for this one rather than the other, after finding them both on the same generator? a feeling.
something he’d come to understand as an obsession.
while he still had to determine whether it was his own or the entity’s, he knew to act on it. and swung his great knife once he was close enough
— too bad his target dodged into one of the rooms
and his blade instead bit into the doorframe.
an aggravated growl left the brute. he’d just slowed himself down by lodging the knife halfway into the wall. in a way that required even pyramid head to stop and put some focused strength into pulling out. but the frustration quickly faded,
once he realized the survivor had just cornered herself in a dead end.
his towering body blocked her only way out. him pulling the heavy chunk of metal did not change anything about her unfortunate predicament.
and now that it was just the two, alone, the feeling became unmissable.
the fateful bond of an obsession and the killer, a deeply rooted connection... ⸺no.
the heavy, triangular cage ontop his shoulders tilted almost curiously.
no, this was something... different. entirely. this girl was different.
and yet, there was something so familiar about her.
like she belonged here, with him, in midwich.
in silent hill.
something in the executioner’s stance shifted as he slowly lumbered closer. the grip on his knife seemed much looser now. somehow, the girl had managed to trigger his inquisitive side, pulling him straight out of his bloodlust...
who are you?
