Hey Taylor!! I’m back to update you on my life, which is something you hopefully see and enjoy? :) So something I’m really excited about is that on the 29th my boyfriend and I will have been together for 8 months!! He’s my best friend and I really hope it’ll stay like that for as long as possible. You’d like him. Also I finished school and I’m going to be a junior next year! I’ve heard people say it’s the hardest year of high school and I’m believing it, especially because I’m taking two AP classes next year. (AP Lang and AP World History) I’m nervous for next year but I have a good feeling it will teach me some things, school wise and life wise. I can sense a change in my life, and I sound insane for this, but I just have a gut feeling something will change for me. I’ve been reading and writing more recently. I’m rereading the Harry Potter series and I’m starting some other books I’ve been meaning to read. I’ve written everyday for the past few days, which is good for me because there was a few months of time where I just couldn’t get myself to. That was a time where my depression hit me harder than ever. I’m getting a lot better though and my productivity is making it more manageable, even though it was forced productivity at first. I’ve been writing lyrics since I was in 5th grade on and off, which was a hobby picked up from you, but I’m doing my best now to REALLY stick to it as I want to improve a lot. I think I have improved a lot but I’m not going to stop pushing myself to work harder. I’ve also been doing art more. My boyfriend’s mom, who’s a professional artist, has even called me an artist and not just a kid who doodles and draws sometimes, and I’ve taken that to heart and it’s inspired me a lot. She inspires me a lot actually. Her art is amazing and I’ve worked on murals with her and been her assistant in classes she’s taught. I think one of the biggest reasons she inspires me is because she made a career out of something she loves and it’s not necessarily traditional. She also has the best stories and is really cool in other ways. I’ve found a lot of music through her and my boyfriend; artists like Ben Folds (you’d LOVE him), The Cure, etc. I don’t think she knows any of this but she seriously inspires me a lot. I also got two jobs! I wasn’t really expecting getting any anytime soon but I got two and I was so surprised, but I really need them and I needed the reassurance that things will happen for me if I’m persistent. I believe in the Law of Attraction and I’ve been practicing it more and I think that might have been a part in this. I’m using all of these different things in my life like the time I’ve had with my boyfriend, the inspiration I get from his mom, the success im getting jobs, and my improvements in my creative endeavors to motivate me to keep going. I just get discouraged sometimes because I think I’m not good enough or that I couldn’t possibly make a living around what I love, but I have people who inspire me who have done just that. You, his mom, Ed Sheeran, Tim Burton, a YouTuber named Dodie, my Latin teacher, etc. I think you’re the biggest inspiration though. You’ve been the most consistent thing in my life and the one person who’s always believed in me even though I don’t know if you know my face or name, let alone who I am. I don’t know though, I think you see more than I realize, so who knows? Anyway, I’m so excited to see you in August!! I’m going to your Pittsburgh show with my best friend, Mariah.
