2. The second fic is also post-war. H & D were going for a vacation & were at the portkey office. But the portkey is not working properly and there is some mishap & they find themselves in the department of mysteries where they have to pay a game. The floor is checkers and they have to take straight strips by rolling a dice & taking the number of steps as the number that appears on the dice. There are many obstacles but at the end they get out of there. I think the game was done kind of project of these department of mysteries. It was also a small fic (around 15k or less).
