Ima steal this opportunity to once again remind that requests will often take a while to get filled. Additionally, I try to do them in order received and schedule them. I'm trying to schedule once a week and hope to make enough to fill up the que til this time next year! A lofty goal, but I think it may be doable. This is because I tend to not write much during the school year, but I still want to have consistent content. I may try to do every other week instead/at first.

hi!! i just wanted to make sure your requests are off because i’ve seen people requesting stuff but i wasn’t sure because in ur pinned it says requests are off so some clarification would be lovely!!

hi there! i do two types of requests: long form and mini fics/drabbes/headcanons. i did make a post a bit ago since i was receiving a lot of newcomers and getting a lot of messages for requests to try to help clarify what i am & am not accepting.

for clarification: long form requests are off; mini fics, drabbles, & headcanon requests are always on unless i say otherwise.

for additional clarification: long form requests are typically anything that is a full plot with a beginning, middle, & end that can take me a few days or up to 1-2 weeks to finish (they are typically 4-13k words, ~6k on average) — which is why they are off. i currently have 13 long form fic requests outstanding before i turned them off (i have about 7 more that came in after i turned them off) that i am working on. i try to go in order received & will only bounce around if i feel like i need to such as hitting a writer’s block or i know i can finish a different one faster than the other.

mini fics, drabbles & headcanon requests are things i can finish in a day. i usually can write 2-4 in a singular day, which are also the most popular form of requests on my blog right now. these typically are one shots, one scene, not too much going on — which is why they are always on since i complete them much faster than others. they also help me practice short-form writing.

even though i am not completing new long form requests, people are more than welcome to send them now if they have ideas they don’t want to lose, & i keep them in my inbox to come back to once i am doing requests again (if i get too many even while requests are off, i might leave them off but still work what i receive when i’m ready to take them again). i have one more mini fic in my drafts that is more than a week old, otherwise i’m caught up to any requests sent to me within the past 8 days.

while i try to avoid part 2s or multiple parts to x reader fics, definitely right now merely due to how much i have outstanding, i do have a dazai x secretary mini fic series with 3 parts that is super popular (& i also love it). but i post those updates when i feel like it, not at readers’ request. i’m in the middle of finishing a smut fic for dazai’s birthday today (not requested, i wanted to do it for myself 🤗) & then i will be back to working on my long form requests again.

once i am caught up on my long form fic requests, they are going to stay off for a bit so that i can work on my personal projects that i post to ao3 (i miss my ocs).
