God, are you there? It’s me, Sam.
I do not shame religion by any means. You are allowed to believe in whatever you want. Recently I have been very intrigued by near death experiences. While researching, I watched a documentary where scientists put a “God Helmet” on people to see if he could replicate a man’s NDE. The man said it wasn’t quite the NDE he had before, but it had similar features. Upon doing more research, I found that many people who died and came back had no recollection of anything that happened. Others saw a white light at the end of a tunnel but that’s all. Each had many different experiences. But what I found in common with most, was the light at the end of tunnel, surrounded by darkness, bright hands reaching down for them to take them out of Hell, a beautiful bright light that gave them a feeling of unconditional love.
Personally, I do not associate with any religion. I have never particularly felt God’s love, any God’s love specifically. But I do believe there has to be something out there that sees us to our paradise.
In one of the documentaries, some people had said that they saw Buddha when they died. Guess what? Those people were Buddhists. That’s what they believe in, so that’s who encountered them.
God is real, he is. He may be Buddha. He may be Jesus. He may be a She! But I don’t think God lives in the sky on an astral plane away from the Earth. I believe he lives in each one of us.
Our souls exist, and live on in some way after this world. And whether you believe in Aphrodite or Jesus or Buddha, you will be okay. If you want to be reincarnated, you will be. If you want to stay in heaven, you will. God is you, and you are God.
