captain america: the first avenger, guardians of the galaxy vol.2, avengers: infinity war
What’s your fanfic reading pet peeves?
Hmm. This is specific for Steve, but it frustrates me reading fics that narrow him down to a stiff Captain America soldier who can’t take a joke and it a stickler for orders. I don’t mind if it is some kind of character arc where it is clear there is more to Steve than that, but he is acting that way for reasons of his own. But it bothers me if it feels like that is all there is to him.
When reading fics where therapy and/or mental health comes in, it bugs me if the process moves uncharacteristically quickly. These kinds of things take time, especially if the character is not used to therapy.
One thing that bugs me, but not like a lot, just something that makes me shake my head in frustration. Is when a summary of a story consists solely of a quote from a song or a poem or something. I don’t mind that being part of the summary, but if that is the whole summary, than I still don’t really know what the fic is about.
Create a playlist for one of you fics!
Okay! I happen to have made this playlist already for my fic The Singer
And I made a short little one for The Alternate Handler! The idea is that it follows Bucky from when he is captured by Hydra to when he comes back to himself.
Do you have any fanfic recs?

Volume Control by JacarandaBanyan
This is something I would definitely write if it weren’t already written! Steve’s super senses - especially his hearing, is not all it is cracked up to be. Luckily Tony can help.
5 Times Steve Rogers Hid His PTSD + 1 Time His Team Helped by IbecomewhatIbelieve
The title kind of speaks for itself for this one. Wonderful headcanons about Steve’s PTSD
Running on Empty by enigmaticblue

If You Never Say Your Name Out Loud To Anyone by theladyingrey42
Sometimes, Steve has panic attacks. Or at least he used to. Nowadays, he mostly just has conversations with Tony Stark.
How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Being a Capsicle by missbecky
Someone at SHIELD freezes a Captain America action figure in ice, and Steve finds it. Good thing for him he's got Tony Stark on his side, because his day is about to get a whole lot better.
