Meet Fi Skirata, another one of my rescue bettas.

I was buying frozen food for fish, when one of the employees approached me and asked me if I wanted to adopt this little guy.

He was worried no one would want to buy him because he only has one good eye and he knew I have a very soft spot for "special" cases.

And how could I've said no to such a cute, funny boy?

I went to Poland and at my first day there I saw a poor little betta with ripped fins. I couldn't buy him that day because we wanted to visit some family members.

Since I couldn't forget about this poor soul, I came back a few days later. He was still there, so I bought him.

I named him Andrii. Andrii is the name of an Ukrainian solider i take care of, he got shot in the head during the Crimea war and is now physically and mentally disabled. I told him about my betta named Zelenskiy, and said as a joke I could name the next one Andrii. He really liked the idea, so this little fishie is now named Andrii. 😄❤️ When I sent him a picture he was sooooo happy, you can't imagine 🥺
