Hi there; I'm thinking about getting a Betta and I'm looking for some advice.. I currently have a 10gal planted RCS tank; aside from some Malaysian trumpet snails, I only have two kuhli loaches, but they stay underground or under their tree most of the time. I barely see them.

I saw that you have a Betta with your shrimp as well, and I was wondering how that fared for you? I'm trying to start a carpet of plants as well; I just planted some dwarf saj. I know I'll have to get many more plants to provide ample hiding spots for baby shrimp, but I just wanted to start gathering second opinions/advide for betta and shrimp

I've had several Bettas so far and just one of them killed the shrimps. All the others were super cool with them! Of course it can happen that they might chase and eat some shrimps (mostly babies) from time to time, but I also have Bettas that share their food with the shrimps 😂❤️
