If I'm a bit slow at uploading and shit it's because I'm nursing this lovely little girl back to health so my sister can take her home! Her name is Iggzy and she's the sweetest little thing! More abt her under the cut!

No that last pic is not my ass those are my legs.

Iggzy came to me about two weeks ago on the brink of death due to neglect from her previous home. She was kept on sand, housed with two male leopard geckos, had no hides, and had a heat lamp on her tank 24/7 with no down time. She was fed crickets that were supposedly dusted but her MBD debunks that statement. The guy who had her just bought tubs of crickets, dumped the whole tub in, and left them. She had stuck shed that was never removed, and when I got her, it took me 4 days to get all the stuck shed off of her. She had a bunch stuck around her eyes, which prevented her from opening them all the way, and unfortunately, all of her toes are missing. She has one fully-intact toe and that one is kinda screwed up. Her front legs are permanently crippled due to MBD so she walks a bit funny but she loves to run around and explore her tank. 

Today, she’s having her first shed since coming to me. She has a humidity box, two hides, lots of decor to play around in, and a dish of calcium powder. She’s on reptile carpet and has a heat mat, and gets lots of playtime outside of the tank. Heck, she even likes to sit and watch the screen while I play Minecraft on my laptop! She gets two superworms a day and a waxworm every few days to help her put on weight. She likes to sit on the windowsill in my room on warm days and sleep with the breeze on her. She’s still a little bit underweight right now (she weighs 25 grams) but we’ve only got a little ways left to go before she’s ready to go home with my sister! 

I’m trying not to get too attached to her bc if I do, I will absolutely be bawling my eyes out when she goes with my sister, but she makes it hard not to love her. 

This was an incredible experience, helping this little baby get better, and I hope I get another chance to have an experience like this one in the future!! <3

This is my crested gecko Petri! I rescued him off Craigslist from a kid that went to the same college as I did. He was by no means neglected by his previous human, but I just don’t understand how someone would want to rehome this cute little fella. He isn’t very keen on being handled, but I enjoy watching him explore his enclosure and jump around with reckless abandon. He’s my derpy little dragon and I absolutely adore him ❤️🦎

Charlie is grumpy and made a weird chattering noise at me because I'm giving her a sauna. I have her almost a week with a humid hide and everything else and she still hasn't managed to finish her shed. It is starting to bother her eye, so she now getting steamy in a small tub. She is angry though!
