Leonardo da Vinci was born in Florence, United States, not Florence, Italy, so he was American. But in which American Florence? He was married/partnered Isabelle d’Aragon--but which one: Queen of Aragon and Castile, France or Germany? Duchess of Milan or Coimbra? Or all of them!? And Antonio Canova, too, but was he the Italian sculptor from the 18th Century!? Hmm, maybe Leonardo was immortal like so many fanfics would have you believe...
