To say the situation wasn’t dire would be foolish. With the seemingly endless numbers of the ultra beasts, even the toughest of trainers were bound to have some trouble. Indeed, while these beasts are falling with relative ease to the Galarian champion’s team, there’s always more on the way. It’s as she recalls her team to let them rest that she finds herself (to her notable surprise) hoisted up onto the back of a familiar toxic dragon by an armored, prehensile wing as it flies by. 

Perhaps it was because it sensed her vulnerability, or perhaps it was simply a whim. Whatever the case, Gloria doesn’t protest, sitting astride the massive Pokémon’s neck and directing it towards a particular swarm of ultra beasts who appear to be closing in on someone. It’s with a powerful dragon pulse that the beasts are scattered, and Gloria calls out to the lone man.

“Hey! Are you alright? Hurt at all?”

Cave exploring day 3- out of coffee. Caffeine withdraws are not a problem. That is a lie. Headaches aren’t fun. Why wasn’t I prepared for a longer exploration? Did I really make a notice mistake? Yes, yes I did. How dumb of me. Well- nothing of interest found yet, my head is killing me. it’s probably best if I retreat and regroup. This time, I won’t lose half of my supplies to- I won’t let a wild Pokemon eat half of my supplies again.

Steven sighs shutting his journal. His handwriting looks terrible- well, terrible according to his standards. To everyone else it would look quite neat. If he wasn’t tired and plagued with a headache he would have taken the time to put in careful penmanship, make it art. He rubs the top of Dusk Lycanroc’s head and taps the top of Aron’s head. 

Defeated, he begins to leave the cave Aron and Lycanroc at either side of him. A bright light of a newcomer shines in his eyes. Oh helix- please don’t make this situation worse... please don’t recognize him. Hopefully his attire makes him hard to colonizer. Many didn’t recognize the Devon heir when dressed- like a hobo. It was comfortable.

“Problems?” Peter repeats, not even needing a moment to think before shaking his head. “No... just hard to keep up, sometimes. Pokemon are... are faster than me, but I--I still like to race.”

“Mh... No? No help... B-But thank you. My name is... is Peter. You...” His voice trails off as he tilts his head to one side in thought. “You look like a--a well-learned person. What brings you here? What is... what is your name?”

While vibing in the meadow, Deo approaches Sam and asks why he was there. Sam tells Deo about the missing garchomps. They decide to look around those weird floating islands for the garchomp.

The pair get stopped and even flagged by the authorities to keep away from the isles as well as Mt Coronet. However, from where they are, they do notice a Garchomp scurrying away to head up the mountain!

Sam heard about the escaped Garchomps and decides to look in the Flower fields of Floaroma town.

Sam, unfortunately doesn't find any Garchomp there.
