If Reset!Eclipse learned that he is the true virus, that he is the kill code that gained sentience; it would absolutely devastate him and all he knows. That Moon was right and that Eclipse was the danger. Moon withheld information, but it was to protect Sun, not harm him.
Sun wouldn't care. Eclipse was his brother and this revelation doesn't change that. Eclipse technically lied to him, but Eclipse thought he spoke the truth so Sun won't hold that against him. Moon knowingly lied, deciding a new foundation was better than repairing the original cracked one. Sun might be Moon's brother, but Eclipse is Sun's brother.
