AND NOW. Chapter 4, Coal Minin’
“What just happened? I lost?!” Barnaby cried as his Chimchar fell to the ground. “Yes Barnaby. You are out of Pokemon. You lost.”
Barnaby sighed. “Chimchar, return...well, that’s it!! That’s the last time I’ll ever lose! I’m going to be the world’s toughest trainer, and you know it!!” Aurora rolled her eyes, “First you have to beat Oreburgh City Gym.” “I’m gonna toughen up for that!” “Heal your Pokémon first!!” Aurora yelled at him, as he ran away from Jubilife. She watched as Barnaby, without skipping a beat, turned around and sprinted back into Jubilife.
Aurora walked back into the city too, and healed up her Pokemon

OREBURGH CITY, CITY OF ENERGY
Aurora was blinded by the light of the sun as she walked out into Oreburgh. She looked around at the mountainous area around the place. “Huh? Uh-oh! You don’t have any gym badges!! Nooooooooob!!” A young boy who was walking past her laughed
Aurora glared at the boy. “Hey! That’s gonna change!!”
The boy sneered at her. “Here. I’ll show you the gym.” The boy began running off, and Aurora followed. He stopped in front of a building with a Pokéball design on it.
“Here is the gym. Have fun trying to beat Roark!” He laughed, and walked away. “Wow. What a jerk...” Aurora begin to reach for the door...
*** Two entities watched from a far.
“This girl. She’s the one.” “Hmmmm...?” “The world. Time and space. She will save it.” “By saving us?” “Yes.” “But what if she’s not??” “Have I ever been wrong?” “Indeed not” The one frowned. “She’s about to be stuck in a time loop.”
“So much for the future of time and space.” “QUIET!! I will have to give her immense power. The power to break out. The power to make a new choice.” “Do it.” *** “STOP!!!”
Aurora’s hand had hesitated at the door. When she heard the voice she jumped, and looked around for its source. She frowned, not seeing anyone around her. “Where are you two going with that coal?!” A man was yelling near the coal mine south of her. Aurora frowned. He wasn’t the source of the voice she had heard. She shrugged. The gym challenge could wait. She looked around, and headed north towards Route 207.
*** The foreman continued to yell. Two men with teal bowl cuts were awkwardly heaving bags of coal away from the mine. Hearing the man’s yelling, they dropped the bags, and stood up straight. “Sir!! We are taking this coal for the sake of Team Galactic!!” “Oh?! Are you now?! And who might that be??” “Team Galactic is trying to create a better world for humanity!! To do this we are conducting research on various forms of energy!! Starting with coal!!” “Now sorry, but I can’t just let you two walk off with this coal.” One of the grunts cracked his knuckles and started loosening up various muscles. “Oh? I guess my and my partner will just leave you here today then.” “Be on your wa---” The foreman’s sentence was cut off by a cold knockout punch to the head. “Our objective is complete. Let’s get this coal to Eterna.” ***
ROUTE 207
Named: Mogar!!!!!
Aurora waded through the tall grass a bit more, Torres trotting along side her. Suddenly, another Machop jumped out of the grass, tackling Torres. “Heh. We got this Torres. Use Absorb!!” Torres shook the Machop off, and began absorbing its health. When Aurora knew the Machop was low on health she nodded. “Torres! Use Tackle!!” The Machop flew through the air, and landed in the grass far away. “Alright!! Good job Torre~Huh?!” Torres had begun to glow, and growing larger. The sapling on its head split into two bushes, moving down to its back. “GRO- TLE!!!” It cried out. Aurora hugged the Grotle. “Good job Torres!! Do you think we can take on Roark??” Torres nodded. “Alright!! Let’s go!!”
As she walked away, the Machop’s body began glowing, and faded away...
