Randomly remembered king of the Reshi Isles so here I am, delivering a quick sketch of him

I am SO glad the Reshi leader showed up. I'm glad it was awkward. I'm glad the Mink was the one who welcomed him. It all says important things about power and marginalization and kinship and respect and politics and so on that much more thoughtful and wordful people than me could likely ponder on and expand on.

Reading Dawnshard right now (Cause I forgot to read it before starting Rhythm of War like a doofus) and seeing a trans dude character had me bouncing off the walls. And his Nahel bond allowed stormlight to transition him?!? Thank you Brandon, I needed to see that today.

Considering the Reshi Isles are basically giant crustaceans, I wonder- could you eat them? Like, if you could find a way to clean the dirt/people/etc off of them, shop them up into small enough pieces to boil/cook, could you eat an island? Or, if the whole thing is too ambitious a project, could you cut off the end of a toe and eat that like a crab leg?
