I need a re5 remake because I need them to actually make use of the cool lore. especially for jill. in the game itself they gave her next to nothing and then you read the files and there's all this incredibly interesting information about the virus laying dormant in her body since re3 and her antibodies being used to create wesker's new bioweapon. I know re4 & 5 are more action oriented than story but re4make hugely improved upon the game for me by developing the story and characters and I think they could easily do the same for re5.

#also it feels like they might have wanted to tie leon to chris & jill through this but that never goes anywhere #i can't really get over how much I disliked re5 because of the constant combat i'm sorry it's not my fave aspect of re games #I felt a similar way about re4. however I love the remake so i'd love to see what they do for a 5 remake #and I mean. jill - being one of the franchise's most important characters - deserves to have all that lore done justice for re5 #resident evil 5 #resi 5 #jill valentine #sapph's post

started resident evil 5 (just finished chapter 2-2) and so far it really feels like they just wanted to do re4 (2005) with chris. it's not even about the plagas plot because I actually don't mind that all, but so many scenes feels like it's ripped from the other game. chainsaw guy is probably the most egregious though. it probably doesn't help that i'm sure some of the animations are the same and the quick time events aren't novel anymore. even going through the rail yard with the dogs felt a little like going through the re4 maze with the tight corners and the way the dogs jump into the area, and then you jump into a minecart after that section and end up in an area similar to the mines of re4. i'm hoping there'll be less similarities as I go on. love sheva though, i'm so glad she can actually do damage and be helpful, big improvement after playing revelations 1.

I played Resi 5 recently and although I liked the idea of Jill going through some physical changes after having a rough time with gravity, I didn’t like her design in the game, so I tried coming up with my own !
