Love equals Obedience
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves me he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and will take up residence with him. — John 14:23 | Lexham English Bible (LEB) Lexham English Bible 2012 by Logos Bible Software. I’m in love, to me this photo looks like a still from a movie. Hope to do more Ashley content in future.
If I could, then I wish to permanently reside between your words, like the dried up ink on your sheets...

PSALMS S.O.A.P. ~ PSALM 84
Tuesday, 11/14/23
SCRIPTURE:
How happy are those who reside in Your house, who praise You continually. Selah ~ Psalm 84:4 Happy are the people whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. ~ Psalm 84:5 Better a day in Your courts than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than live in the tents of wicked people. ~ Psalm 84:10
OBSERVATION:
Interesting opposites here:
Reside - have one's permanent home in a particular place;
Pilgrimage - a purposeful journey, often into an unknown or foreign place, where a person goes in search of new or expanded meaning about their self, others, nature, or a higher good through the experience. It can lead to a personal transformation, after which the pilgrim returns home to their daily life;
And then,
the threshold of the house of God - implies permanence, residing...
...tents of the wicked - implies impermanence, moving from place to place...
Happy - residing and pilgriming in Him and in His presence... even for just a day...
APPLICATION:
Reside in Him;
Travel with Him;
Praise Him continually;
PRAYER:
Father God - may I travel with You, pilgrimage with You, return with You to Your house and accept my place at Your door... I ask forgiveness for my wandering... Please accept my praise and thanksgiving and worship for Your grace and mercy... through and in Jesus's Name, for Your honor...
Happily trusting in Him... 𝖌
