৻ꪆ i’m a firm believer that krauser likes to learn only because he never truly dismissed the truth of bio organic weapons when first introduced to them during operation javier. sure, he had doubts when first exposed to it, but he never seemed truly close on the subject when talking about it with leon and, in some instances, even seemed interested in knowing about them and the overall truth of the matter. he’s an experienced military man and understands how powerful knowledge can be, but it’s also a way for him to stay informed and even selflessly indulge into this little quest of knowledge of his.
with that in mind, i looove to imagine him listening to you so intently whenever you’re explaining something. he always lets you finish before adding his voice to the discussion, or even asking pertinent questions on whatever subject you’re more knowledgeable about. you never would’ve thought mission-focused major krauser would willingly offer a minute of his day, yet, the powder blue of his eyes wander on your notes, the way you write and the subtle twitch of your fingers on the paper whenever something troubles you. he looms over like a hawk whenever you’re working on something, or simply stands in the corner watching you work while giving you enough space.
don’t get me wrong, breaking his stoic facade does not come with the package of his attention and, in a way, it does scare most, but the way the growl in his voice just slightly softens around you is but testament of his genuine desire to learn. especially when it comes from you.
