Meet our grand dog, Athena. She's a rare breed, Husky Pyranese. She's very chill and has made her way into the pack of the four boys very well. We lost our greatest cat, Princess Cleopatra, last Friday due to a tragic event. I've had a roller coaster emotionally taxing weekend. However, I choose joy. I choose to look at the good. I will never know why she was killed, so there's no reason to drive myself crazy wondering "WHY". I had a counselor once time til me that asking WHY is crazy making. I know Princess Cleo was my best protector, my soul cat, my purring meditation partner. So many things i will miss, as she lived in my master bedroom and my sacred space by my altar. I know she's flying in the highest realm. She was barely here when she was in earth! Her frequency was very high and she easily crossed over. We buried her next to my sweet Cherry Flame, who died a year ago. Godspeed, sweet Cleo! I now know you made room for Athena. The key to emotional invincibility is acceptance.
